High paid veterans getting a pass got Yeo fired in MIN. Vanek and Pominville floating for 4-5 games without missing a shift and young guys sitting for one mistake.

I get it that young players are unproven and need to earn their playing time your highest paid players need to drive the play. The young players need to be given time to find their way in the league. Sit them if they are not hustling or following your system.

Blaming the 3-4 line players will not move the needle.
This team is very frustrating and there doesn’t look like a turnaround is anywhere in sight.

So Fletcher actually gets paid to make these decisions....good for him, bad for us. Again, from Scott on down dysfunctional, incompetent, and out of touch. Its not the Phantoms squad (Mayhew, Willman, Seeler, etc.) fault. They have their limitations. But to keep Frost and York out when they could be gaining NHL experience is borderline criminal. Technically he gets paid to do what Scott wants. We will never really know what decisions are Fletcher's or Scott's. Yea Scott has no hockey knowledge and probably not going to tell him to make specific moves but he is definitely going to be in the way of the direction the team takes. He said just as much in the presser. Scott thinks the team is 2-3 pieces away. Regardless of whether Fletcher agrees or not he is being paid to take the team in the direction Scott wants. At the end of the day this team is not going to do well financially rebuilding. NHL counts on Philadelphia to be one of the teams that brings in the $$ for the revenue sharing

Even if Fletcher wanted to rebuild I doubt Scott would allow it. We all saw with Hextall what happens if you dont do what Scott wants. You can cry for Fletcher to be fired all you want but at the end of the day they are just going to replace him with another Yes man and nothing changes.

I can guarantee if CHI doesnt hire Chiarelli and Flyers fire Fletcher. He's going to be the next Flyer GM.

When Gorton came aboard, he said Ducharme was there for the rest of the season. Now that he’s gone it seems that the Flyers will have to fire Yeo. The team quit on Yeo in MIN and STL. I see the same thing happening here.

The epitome of being damned with faint praise. Whats depressing is that there are still more than 30 games left in this nightmare of a season!

I couldn’t care less if Nick Seeler had a 10 assist night tonight. I hate watching him play. Seeler in the line up is an even worse on going on than Yandle’s iron man record because it shows we have zero depth anywhere. Seeler’s two assists doesn’t whip clean two bad plays on two goals against. His shot blocking is so awkward.

You're right they should just bring up all our prospects, sit the the guys that help us lose and get another middle of the pack pick in a shallow draft so we can complain how we dont get top talent by drafting in the top 5. You contradict yourself. You say Flyers make DET look good, so clearly you think they are bad. Yet DET is apparently doing a good job playing young players.

Flyers arent making moves to just lose. Frost and York should not be on this team. They were brought up because of injuries. Guys came back. There is no need for them to be here. They should be in the minors improving their game. York and Frost should be the top players on the Phantoms and get PP time. The fact they arent on PP1 is another topic completely.

Big picture is we need Frost and York to become core pieces in this team. We also need top end talent and like everyone knows that talent is obtained through the draft. It isnt like we are purposely using AHL players to lose games. Fact is we have to, the difference is we are playing guys we are looking to develop into a bottom 6 position or bottom pair guy like Seeler. Yandle was brought in to play for the team, there is no benefit to sitting him now.
