With all due respect, on the list of organizational priorities, the Phantoms PP shouldn't even register. - Tomahawk
You don't get it. Just one day before, the given reason for Frost and York going to the Phantoms was that they'd get all the most important, all-situations minutes for awhile. 24 hours later, two AHL veterans are getting PP1 time over them. |

And you don't think they are better on paper than they show on the ice right now? Isn't that the point of all the female doging and complaining on this site? We all know they are better than they are playing, he's stating the obvious. - Flyerz74
They aren’t anything more than mediocre on paper imo |

One of the few prospects currently available with any NHL potential is getting scratched in the favor of Macewen Brown Bunnaman Mayhew Willman. The dinosaurs behind the bench and in the front office need to go ASAP - ClaudeFather
I am hoping that this is part of the tank. If so, kudos to them. They started to win/get points with Frost playing well. His delayed future development is a negligible variable when balanced against the benefits a freefall could bring.
I am also hoping the timing of the surgeries of Couts/Hayes was with team encouragement. |

The Duality of being a Philadelphia Fan:
When I hear today Daryl Morey's Sixers and Nets are in the "Deal Zone" regarding James Harden I get excited.
When I hear Fletcher, Dave Scott, and the Flyers are in the "Deal Zone" I break out in a nervous sweat. - StepfordSam
Still plenty of time for Morey to f that up. |

I can understand getting Brassard some ice time to prove he's healthy so they can move him at the deadline. Seeler though???? No legit explanation. |

There’s no other way to win in the NBA. Bucks are the exception, not the rule. Tank or build a super team. The league only has themselves to blame for that. |

I am pretty patient. I was ok with the rebuild and Hexy taking time. I thought he was to rigid in his ideas but I trusted his leadership. Then CF comes in, I trusted it was time for a change. I trusted when cf made his moves, even though some were obvious overpays. I was onboard when they said we are going to retool after this season was another shxt show. As long as it was a smart retool, and if not possible, tear it down.
I am patient with leadership, my experience tells me leaders fail forward.
They have finally lost me, I have not liked their development for a while, both Hextall and CF. This last debacle with Frost and York is just more of the same, proof they are clueless. We are all talking about leaving frost play with better players, they send him down. York was by far not the worse D on the ice, they send him down. Yeah, more minutes in the AHL will help Frost? No, 30 games in the nhl will help him. I think the same for York.
Candidly, Fxck them, the whole leadership structure should be fired. They all should be sent back to leadership 101 training. |

So
No Frost, no York but we get more Seeler, Bunny, Zach, Yandsie and Brassard. Why the (frank) should we bother to tune in, Dave? Why should anyone spend one (frank)ing dollar to buy a ticket? Well, Dave?? - BiggE
What do you have against Brassard? He’s actually played well when healthy. |

I don't really follow the NBA nowdays, but did the Raptors cup team have a high pick stud on it?

Last season they were better than the product on the ice showed. A mediocre team across the board sunk by horrible goaltending.
This year, they are what they are. Even when everybody was healthy, they couldn't get the puck to save their lives. It's a fatally flawed team led off a cliff by incompetent coaching and management. |

You really expect Briere, a guy just starting a new position to say yes this team sucks? Do people not just understand PR speak? - xShoot4WarAmpsx
Do you not understand that most fans are not interested in having smoke blown at them? Don't piss on me and tell me it's raining. I think it's quite obvious that Briere does not understand PR. If this is the belief in that front office, then all the PR in the world is not going to matter.

Fair enough. They had Kawahi who went 15th. Still had to load up their team with pretty good players via trade to get there. You can’t just draft and develop in the NBA anymore and I’ve been a lot lest interested in that league the last 10 years. Thankfully I got to grow up with 90s NBA |

It feels convenient that there is not a TOI stat in the AHL. I can’t find PP info either. Big BIG minutes huh…nothing to see here. |

Respectfully disagree with the bolded. Frost is an asset that this organization has already invested a lot of resources in. Keeping his continued development on schedule should be a priority if they view him as a part of their future in any way. And besides, it's not like he's out there dominating in the NHL. IMO his presence isn't going to single handily win them many (if any) games. Him playing isn't going to prevent a tank. He should be playing over some of those other guys. I don't get the Frost thing at all.
As for York, the left is his natural side, right? We all know Yandle should sit, but we also know that he won't. With that said, maybe they want York back with the Phantoms on his natural side rather than being thrown out there with Yandle on his off side. I don't agree with it, but that's the only somewhat logical explanation I can see for York not being with the Flyers |

There’s already a bunch of people who love the move solely because they loved him as a player. It’s like this fan base needs a refresher on how the last three GMs before Chuck panned out.
Some dumbass on instagram was trying to tell me Homer didn’t blow up the farm system. |
