Do you not understand that most fans are not interested in having smoke blown at them? Don't piss on me and tell me it's raining. I think it's quite obvious that Briere does not understand PR. If this is the belief in that front office, then all the PR in the world is not going to matter. - MJL
Doesnt matter what the fans want. You are always going to get PR speak. No organization is going to say anything that makes someone within the company or the company itself look bad.

There’s already a bunch of people who love the move solely because they loved him as a player. It’s like this fan base needs a refresher on how the last three GMs before Chuck panned out.
Some dumbass on instagram was trying to tell me Homer didn’t blow up the farm system. - hereticpride
I don't want to hear about the injuries. Certainly they were a factor in where the team is at. Honestly it is a blessing in disguise for this team and has put them in a better spot for a better draft pick. Otherwise they're a bubble team who may or may not have made the playoffs. That would've had the team in the worst spot you can be in the NHL. There is only one measuring stick that means anything. That is how do they compare to Carolina, Florida, Colorado etc. If this organization thinks they are anywhere close to that or just a few moves away, they're delusional.

It is frustrating. Also frustrating that on 2 of the Phantoms 3 power plays last night, O'Reilly and Clendening were on PP1.
-BMeltzer
I think we need to wonder why this is and grow up a little bit and not stop at the only reason being the organization doesn't know what they are doing. There is obviously something off with Frost. Every time Yeo is asked about him and even Danny Briere yesterday, they all mention the same thing, he is coming along but needs to be more consistent. There is always a "But" in everyone's response on Frost. I think we have to acknowledge the coaches and player development know something we don't. To me Frost has an issue with consistency and he is either going to step up and figure it out or he is not going to make it. |

I think Frost being on the Phantoms and not playing on the first PP unit is an issue. - MJL

Is it though? Seeing how this organization operates.
Schultz is no longer a developmental coach. Full time assistant. Said on the flyers podcast he is learning his job on the fly. That is beyond comical. Learning to coach on the fly at the NHL level. Wonderful.
He will probably be the phantoms head coach next season after Lappy gets promoted to Flyers head coach - hello it's me 2050
Shultz is now the PK coach and is up in the press box according to Yeo latest presser. |

Why is Frost not playing ahead of others on the top pp w the phantoms?
Just why is that?
Ya think maybe just maybe there is a problem there?
If Yeo is dressing the best lineup to win and Frost does not make the list, isn’t that telling?
You mean to tell me Frost does not give you a better chance to win now then the current bottom six?
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say there are issues w Frost that the org just are not too crazy about right now and maybe they think he needs a kick in the ars. - Joe Nardone

I find is absurd for you to suggest that they can't make statements which accurately describe the situation. You keep making excuses for the incompetence. They need to have someone come in and wake that front office the hell up. I don't need someone who amounts to a high level intern spewing the company line of garbage.

What did you think Danny was going to say.
I think the writing is on the wall here. Fletch goes upstairs and Briere is your new GM. - Joe Nardone

You don't get it. Just one day before, the given reason for Frost and York going to the Phantoms was that they'd get all the most important, all-situations minutes for awhile. 24 hours later, two AHL veterans are getting PP1 time over them. - bmeltzer
I really surprised with response from you Bill. You're a journalist with deep contacts in the Flyers organization. Something doesn't smell right here. Frost is being demoted and not even playing big minutes with the Phantoms. There has got to be a maturity issue or consistency issue here. They are obviously disciplining him in some way. I would dig in and find out more. |

No one is leading me around. I trust my own evaluation of a player and how he is being treated in his development. There is something seriously wrong here with Frost, and I think it has to do with him, not the organization. |

No? Like a sheep.
In recent days you've been posting that Frost has been playing well and has improved. Making an "impact" Now you think there is some kind of attitude issue. It's as if the Flyers are jedi's and you buy whatever they say or do. This organization is incompetent and this is just more evidence of that.
Bill's post was concerning York also. Does he also have an issue? He was making an "impact" according to you. |

I work for one of the biggest organizations in Pa and the upper management’s incompetence is second to none. They never admit failure. It’s what I come to expect. |

To be fair, it's Fletcher's decision to send players down.

Sure it is part Frost but he has shown he can well handle the AHL, why in the hell will they not give him time in the NHL? What is the longest stretch of games he has played in the NHL, who were those games with and how was the team around him playing while he was there?
I like Brassard and if he can get back to where he was and stay healthy maybe he can get the Flyers a 4th at the TD. To me, that is it, Frost will not get the ice time and the Flyers will try and sell all they can, including Seeler, why he is in there.
While that is understandable it not good for a prospect who is developing.
Heck, the most recent stretch has been the best hockey the Flyers have played since the beginning of the season. Both Frost and York were having positive impact, just garbage.

I’m really dumbfounded why fans are eating this up too. The comments on Facebook and instagram are insane. Old Flyers bad. Danny good.
Same as it ever was. - hereticpride
Facebook is the worst for Flyers. It's Eagles fans who are the casual hockey fan. |

Fire Dave Scott!!!
Also, no way they win tonight with Seeler out there. One of Chucks former draft picks who Chuck is trying to rationalize his past bad pick.
Fire Chuck. Fire Dave Scott. It all starts there. In the last 10 years the team has been mediocre and not for lack of talent, but management needs to go. |

I wonder if a gold metal would finally stimulate any interest from the Flyers. It’s like 7 years since they drafted him. |
