Like I said above, I wonder if he was being considered for another position in the organization, but with the coaching change, Hughes puts him in there - as an impartial outside person - to evaluate what is really going on for an interim basis.... MSL then takes his position within the organization in the summer when they find their long term coach.

That is the only thing that makes sense to me.

still a weird move, but I'm hoping you guys are right. this would mean things between Ducharme and the players were so bad they were basically forced to make a premature decision, they couldn't even let him finish the season.

Well, maybe we can keep losing but protect the development of the kids this way. Could be a win win going this route.

meh, he's won at previous levels, and I doubt he talks to his players the same way he does to the media. but I get the hate lol
