Go flames baby! Really the leafs had a 3 minutes gaff where the flames crushed them as they play 60 not 57 minutes…it they didn’t probably tied 2-2 into OT.

Everyone talks about a winger for trade deadline, I am not convinced to be more focused on signing Johnny.

Isles Saturday for 6 straight, feeling good about our chances only 3 from vegas with 4 In hand.

I don't see those as mutually exclusive...
There's a few needs right now. 2nd line has picked up the pace and helping take some pressure off the top line. We need 3rd line scoring or someone that can allow a bit more balance across all 4 lines.
To me Monahan is the trade fodder (plus, plus). Appreciate his game's improved but he's a $6+ million 3rd/4th line center...

I saw he was bloody in the box... Big Z was a force against us in the playoffs a couple of years back. He was brought in for those tight checking (playoff style) games, Sutter style baby. He gives up the occasional stinker but both he and Gubrandson have slowly improved their game overall, all the while being pains in the ass to play against!

If the Knights were disinterested playing a division rival who's only a few points back with a bazillion games in hand...
Come on at least be somewhat witty in your trolling...

lol I just like to give it to K-man as he's in trolling the Nucks thread daily now...Flames look (frank)ing good. pains me to say it. They make it in they will win a round or two.

Who would you want for the 3rd line?

The Leaf’s top line feasted on Ruzicka last night. Wonder if Sutter will keep him in.

Hope so, it was a back to back. I thought that line was physical.

BC still has the NDP backed by the Greens and thats not because of the rural vote (outside the island)-they keeping voting Elizabeth May back in. Says all you need to know. At least Horgan's somewhat, sort of, kind of, reasonable. Trudeau could literally get away with murder and get re-elected.

So I might have way too much time on my hands, and not enough hockey knowledge.

What about trading Monahan for Okposo? Similar salary and both have one year left in the contracts.

That would leave Calgary open to go after Giroux or Hertl.

Yay? Nay?

That is the $6+ million dollar question. Well the Leafs top line feasts on most they play against.
I don't know. Dube and Monahan are the weakest links (IMO) right now, well include Ritchie but lets premise expectations there. Again playing better but not keeping up with the pace of the rest of the team. I guess its more who's realistically available. I'm honestly good with a rental too.

Horgan is not too bad it's his long term 'GreenDP' policies that will f*uck BC. Bonnie Henry Needs to be in prison when all this is over and remember...Dominion voting machines placed two liberal mayors in CGY and EDM. Big trouble ahead unless folks get their heads out of their assess. Not a great world we are heading to for the kids and their kids.

I know Gondek personally. She despised Nenshi but she's become him. Didn't think I'd see that.
My fear is Notley gets back in here. I can't stand Kenney but I'd rather have a prostate exam by Edward Scissorhands than have the NDP back in power.

Ya Notley is a hot mess and Kenney lost so many voters when he flipped on the vax pass when JT gave him the 1 billion dollar bribe to implement it. We are so screwed if Nothead gets back in may as well move to the States. Another one of JT's planter puppets. 96 billion in debt she put this Province in in less than 3 years

He is. And he has had a little resurgence like Luc.

Overplayed, yes. But he would do all the things we want Ritchie to do.

Your warning was f'n pathetic for what you posted! That was my point to him. Buddy takes his "REF" job waaaaaay too seriously. A bunch of those guys are good poops but the blog is really sad. Typical left wing, you hurt my feelings with your criticism of this storied team and franchise.

Ok, does Vlad the Impaler play Saturday?

Lost the right and is pissing off the center. He needs to resign or come up with something to save the Conservative Parties ass in the next year and a half. Even the smallest hint of an NDP government again makes my skin crawl...
