Imagine being a goalie on this team knowing there is no margin for error. You pretty much need to perfect every game. That is just something that doesn't happen.

Bill, was wondering something about Marchand's 6 game suspension. Does his forfeited salary count against the cap? If not, may it be enough to influence trades at the deadline, such as they may be able to afford someone they otherwise wouldn't?

2 and a half months left of going through the motions, but hey, at least we get to see Keith Yandle pretending to be an NHL player every night.

The whole “Yandle is a great guy” crap is such utter b.s. If he gave a damn about anything but his f’n streak, he’d show some actual class and retire immediately. He’s a total fraud, has no business playing in the NHL and worse he’s hogging a roster spot that should be York’s right now.

This team’s developmental philosophy is just criminal. York and for that matter, Frost and Zamula have no reason to be playing in the AHL right now. This is the PERFECT time to get all 3 valuable NHL minutes and all 3 should be playing in all situations. They will make mistakes, great, this is the time to make them and learn from them. But somehow, the clowns running this garbage dump, think it’s more beneficial to have them playing in LHV and getting the opportunity to watch AHL lifers play on the pp.

There is no defending any aspect of this organization, none, nada, nothing. Scott, Fletcher and Clarke all need to be sent packing!

The fact that Yandle is still dressing for this team is all you need to know about how poorly run they really are. It's funny I see everyone ripping Seeler on that second Detroit goal last night, and yet, no one is ripping Yandle for smoking some crack out at the blueline on that play to leave Seeler to fend for himself! GET YANDLE DAFUQUE OUT NOW!!!!!!!

Another take from last night's game is how much farther ahead the Wings are from the Flyers. Yeah, the Flyers have injuries, but look at all the young guys contributing to the Wings. That my friends is called having a real GM that knows what he is doing. Turned the Bolts into perennial contenders and will most likely do the same with the Wings. The Flyers prefer ex player dolts to run their organization though. Thanks!! Giroux didn't have a very good game last night, but just wait until he is traded. This team very well may not win another game after he is traded cause they will simply be that bad. No need to even try to tank.

I disagree. The point of telling him that would be to remind him that it's a team game. He'll still try to do his best to let nothing behind him, of course, but sometimes the reminder of the big picture is helpful.

Only to the Flyers is an 8 day break a tough situation for them to overcome. The culture and accountability on this team is comical. Watching Yandle chase a Red Wings forward all the way up to his own blue line, leaving Seeler and Laughton to cover the crease was especially comical. I know Yandle sucks, but as a veteran at least be in the right place in your defensive zone coverage.

Flyers play man to man coverage in the defensive zone when the opposition has possession of the puck. I think you can make an argument that Yandle should've broken off coverage and headed back to the net but the real issue is the lack of adjustments by the coaches. They have not changed from the system that it is clear, the Flyers cannot play effectively. Just continuing to go over video and drills with the same system is not working. They need to change to see if the team can be more effective playing differently.
