What i find curious though is that on his first day there was an optional skate and Gallagher, Anderson and Toffoli were the only ones to skip it…
- Karine Hains

I feel like Gallagher just isn't at 100%, or even that close to it, so hopefully he's just resting up. Can't say with the other 2, and seems odd that Anderson was the one who was last to call out the toxicity in the room, yet not show for the first day of changes in which he and the other vets seemed to ask for.

Same here. Not expecting 4 goals a game and a bunch of wins.... but hopefully so hustle and some heart.

So do you guys think we can get past the trade deadline with 2 or more first round picks? And would you be OK with any potential ones not being until next year?

- Habshistory

absolutely, Chiarot alone should bring a first. and yes, next year is even better.

will Michel Lacroix introduce MSL even if there's no fans in attendance?

Lehkenon could potentially as well... maybe.
I'd love to think Petry would, perhaps with a expiring bad contract coming back. But I'm thinking that's a summer time deal. Toffoli would make for a nice package, just hate to seem him go as he's one of the few I can stand to still watch. But 3 or 4 years from now( if this all works out), he's done his contract anyway at the same time we might actually be good again.

absolutely. Lek may not have the scoring touch, he should bring a first too imo. not sure they'll trade him though, if they're ready to hire a headcoach with no experience just because he brings leadership, pretty sure they'll want to keep Lek even if he can't score in a soccer net.

but it would be a nice message to the fans, like we're thinking of you and can't wait to see you back.

doesn't take a nobel prize to realize they need help between the pipes, holy. but I guess the plan is to go with these 2 and wait patiently for Allen to come back, which kinda (frank)ing sucks.

At least Poehling and CC are trying... Would rather see them try in Laval with Primeau down there too.

Sign whatever scrub they can find and put him in net.

What’s the point of trying to improve that position via trade right now?

not necessarily via trade, but by "help" I mostly mean bringing in anyone (may it be the Bell's zamboni driver) to send Primeau down, he needs to get outta there.

The lack of effort by the veterans all year has been amazing to me. Have some pride guys, jeez.

Ok that’s fair. Just crazy considering the money they have spent at that position

if Martin was up for a challenge, he's got one. let's give him some time to have a few practices with the team and make adjustments.

oh I know, and we still don't even know what's going on with Price, now would not be the time to acquire a high-end goalie.
