Dude that was not a good trade. We'd have a ton of cap room right now and be unloading Miller. Think of the assets wr could snag with teams trying to get capnspace and sending us 1 year cap dumps. We could rebuild so fast much like the Rangers did. Oops

They had one more year of embarrassing contracts and instead they take on another horrendous contract for the next 6 or 7 years and a midget who doesn't want to play in Canada. Again, one of Benning's worst trades on a long list of horrible trades and signings.

Pretty sure Benning wasn't thinking about Trading Miller or getting fired at that time. What sucks now is what Rutherford's next move will be. Moving Garland is a mistake IMO. Kid will be a solid 60 point guy for years to some. Try to make the PO's this year and worry about moving Miller next year.

Only move Miller this year if is an absolute haul. If not off season. Completely agree. Garland is serviceable forsure just not worth the 1st and the anchor coming back with him
