i've had bad ones. i got a pack at wawa and they didn't even taste like eggs. i had to toss those. these eggs are pretty good though. i haven't really noticed a difference between these and my own butchered, chunked up hardboiled eggs. i'll say 8 to be safe because i haven't been able to do a side-by-side comparison.
