U tell me who he’s bumping out of the top 6, Kreider Panarin Kakko or Laf, I’ll wait. - nyrangers9479
He may not come out the gates as a top 6 player but if Kakko doesnt step up I can see him getting bumped. |

Othman when he was drafted was scouted as a kid that likes to get under opponents skin. Cuyelle and Othman could make the exact type of 3rd line we’ve been looking for. - nyrangers9479
Othmann/Cuylle, Copp, Blais could be a very nice line.
If Im not mistaken, Cuylle was one of the final cuts in training camp going into this year so he may have an inside track to getting into the lineup next year.
I think it would be wise for us to not make the same mistake for the 17th time in a row and rush a promising first round pick forward into the lineup. Let him play in the AHL for a year. |

I’m not saying Kakko/Laf can’t be moved in a year or 2 if it looks like we can get similar production from Othman/Cuyelle but on ELC/cheaper contracts. Or even if a trade for a stud center comes along and we have to move one of them in the deal. But for their first few years they could form a 3rd line that brings high energy mixed with scoring and hitting. |

Is that what we're looking for in a first round pick? An ideal third liner? - MeltingPlastic
Outside of the top 5-10 picks, it's rare to guarantee a player is going to be a top 6 F. I think if you're looking for all first Rd picks to be top players, you'll be disappointed more often than not. |

Unfortunately I think we're disappointed with most of our first round picks... |

The defenseman pan out for the most part, can’t develop forwards |

I think you just have diarrhea of the brain and just blurt poop out like Tourette's!!!
An unknown rookie would make a nice a line, paired with someone not on the team and a player who hasnt played 5 games this season. Makes sense. - Brukie
Yep, they could be a nice line.
