I can name like 50 things Yeo could have did better here. Like, you’re giving Yandle all kinds of offensive ice time. I think you have to put Sanheim on the PP when your line up is this thin. The AHL players are seeing second unit time

I do not archive my posts. This poster has accused me of that in the past. I know what I said about the decision to sign Yandle. So I simply went back to the archive when Yandle was signed and found my comments. I'm not sure why I bother with a poster who has zero credibility. His delusional rants concerning Giroux show that.

At this point, bring it on. The team badly needs the draft pick. And even more so ownership apparently needs to see how bad they really are still.

As someone who currently has -99.79 in their bank account for the next week I cannot fathom how anyone continues to renew their tickets year after year for this nonsense.

They do need the draft pick but look at all the teams that have had multiple high draft picks and have not been able to build successfully around elite players? Still need to have competent management.

They have to. Very doubtful that any of the teams that would have interest in Giroux are close to being ready to make a move.

I think COL wants Giroux depending on the cost. COL has no cap space so they probably need a 3rd team like BUF,OTT, NJ or Detroit to help out with that. No way they give up Newhook for a rental.

If we LTIR Coots I think we can take back an expiring contract from them. Shouldn’t be an issue

So? Flyers dont need to get better overnight. They need young players that will be top players in the future. Im not even sure if the Flyers got Bedard in 2023 if he'd make the team better overnight. Best we can do is build around what we have while piecing together the future. This team can be much better than they currently are.

It starts with getting healthy. We need Couturier and Hayes. This team just isnt that deep at C and with Giroux not likely to get back it will be even worse without those guys. I'd like to see Frost on the 3rd with Konecny or Atkinson and a skilled LW next season. Wouldnt mind trying Lindblom there. Need a 1st and 2nd line LW and likely a whole new D core since Provy and Sanheim are the only guys signed.

The rest of it just comes down to coaching and using a player's strength to their advantage. Seems like a lot of the older NHL coaches have a system and they force the players to adapt to the system rather than adapting the system around the players
