It’s nice to see Lammikko get rewarded with a winning goal this way. He doesn’t have much skill, but he works his absolute tail off, does a lot of the undesirable grunt work and is just a good dude in general.
“He’s a guy everyone loves,” Demko said after the game. “He’s a good spirit. He’s always got a smile on his face. He’s missing some teeth, but the effort’s there nonetheless. He plays a hard, physical, committed game, and that resonates through our dressing room.
“He’s good on the dot, he’s blocking shots, he’s working really hard, and obviously a goal at that point in the game is big regardless, but when it’s scored by a guy like that I think it adds a little more to it. Going into the third up a goal was huge after they tied it up, had some momentum and we were able to kind of kill it.”
(audio sucks on the video, let me know if it actually works.. I Frankensteined it in)

Open minded people are open to discussion. Close minded people put all kinds of restrictions on the discussion or outright demand it stops.
Only a few weeks ago you kept asking why people are not allowed to discuss the things you were b!tching about. Now you are playing it in reverse. It's not like it's the only thing a few people here want to talk about unlike you going off over and over about Petey and trades etc.. In fact, you were the person that rekindled the management issue in this new thread a few posts ago.

Wow!
I was going to say Demko is so lucky to apprentice under a goalie coach like Ian Clarke and like how Clarke saved Markstroms career over 5 years, it really showed tonight. - K-man25
