The #1 problem the Canucks have had is not scoring enough, but you have to imagine that it's going to come with the forward depth on this team. We're probably gonne be pretty close to the TDL before we know whether they're buying or selling.

I don't know why they'd have to wait for TDL though. This team at maturation is obviously not a championship calibre team. Unless they want to meddle in the middle again (at best with this core), then why put off the inevitable longer.

Because this is most Canucks when you tell them it's still possible to make the playoffs and they're a perennial bubble team, and once you're there you never know what could happen...

Nah I actually just think it's crumby the toffoli deal went down before Miller. One less team to drive up the price. A very benning type move. They should evaluate faster. Are we good enough to compete now - no. Will this team be good enough in the future with more pieces being developed ... oh there are no pieces coming up through the system? Put up the For Sale sign!
