My driveway knocked me out 7 seconds into the first round.

Feet went out from under me and smashed the back of my head on the ice. Got a huge bloody Fred Flintstone bump now...

Open minded people are open to discussion. Close minded people put all kinds of restrictions on the discussion or outright demand it stops.

Only a few weeks ago you kept asking why people are not allowed to discuss the things you were b!tching about. Now you are playing it in reverse. It's not like it's the only thing a few people here want to talk about unlike you going off over and over about Petey and trades etc.. In fact, you were the person that rekindled the management issue in this new thread a few posts ago.

I waffle a bit but try to keep it minimal. On Petey he was a real problem. He got different looks & opportunity to snap out of it. He has but it has to continue for a player of his talent. He’s a big part of the team & they count on him. When it comes to trades it’s to get more assets in that can be legit help. Miller would do that but he’s often the centre of success. He & Hughes are integral parts to future success. As of now the core can be better but the kids must impact more for depth reasons.

I imagine if Garland gets traded it will be for a first but I would prefer a very good prospect because I don't think a late round first pick will impact . Either way you are recouping the first that you gave up.

Secondly OEL is playing 20 plus minutes a game and has the most goals on the D and he goes against the other teams top players. Even Edler in his prime had a lot of brain farts just the same as every other Dman that plays in the NHL. OEL has 5 points in his last 2 games . Is that how many Hughes has been gone? Honestly can't remember if it is one or two.

You want to Neutralize OEL's cost then draft or trade for a stud RHD on an entry level contract.

All I could do was suggest you wait and see on Petey. Why wouldn't that be good advice after he has shown what he was capable of in the past and is still what 22 or 23? We are not talking about a player who hasn't shown his potential yet. You wanted to trade low low low on him... horrible idea.

Boeser for Laine, both at 7.5 million one is 6'5" and 206 lbs and only 23, the other is 6'1 and 195, but is pretty soft, even compared to the other guy.

He earned every bit of my vitriol. The seasons slow start & ensuing firings he had a big hand in. Age is irrelevant he’s well paid. He was paid for his past when he was a bargain. Now he has to prove he us what I believe is cuz he’s paid to do it.

Yes I trade anyone for a good haul nobody other than Demko is untouchable in my books. J don’t accept lowball offers. I never accept low I wait it out.

I don't care about his feelings or what he deserves. I never talk in that context. That's for you millennials.
