i had big expectations for the panther game - really wanted them to show out a bit before the break and other than the first 20 they did that.

i expect something similar - slow out the gate until they start to find their footing. and fox is back

I was reading an interview with LAF about how he was happy they had this break because he got some good practice time in playing RW with the top line. Noted how it feels different to be on your one-timer now and that youre using your backhand a lot more. I bet hes been spending 2 solid weeks working on his backhand pass. Its going to be real interesting to see.

Would have been a nice add to second line. At $4.25 mil AAV for two more years after this season, fitting him salary wise would have been tough. This sets the market to an extent. Heineman came to CGY from Fla in the Sam Bennett deal
