JT wasnt exactly thriving in NY the first time and bombed out in Tampa. His very limited success was in Vancouver, where lets face it, he has no pressure, so why do you think if he came back, he would continue to thrive?? Do you want to give up that much for a guy who has proven he doesnt thrive under pressure? |

look
JT Miller is physical, he's great at faceoffs, he's can play all three forward positions
regardless of who he was 4 years ago, he's what the doctor ordered for this current team

Giroux does the same and would probably cost 2 less prospects, opening the door to make an additional trade for a position of need. |

^This all day. JT Miller isn't worth what the ask has been speculated to be. |

Agree. Especially, seeing where we have no idea what the actual price is. There’s no doubt he makes the team better in multiple ways. |

All this talk about our D prospects and no mention of hockey name hall of fame candidate hunter skinner. Looks like he’s having a solid season in hartford |

Oh, come on. He wasn't nearly the player he is today when he left us. He had growing and learning to do and he's done it. Good for him.
But, there wasn't enough reason to keep him at the time with the money we had available. |

He couldnt make it on a stacked Tampa team either. |

I don’t have the stats anymore, but pretty sure when he was in the top 6 on Tampa he was a PPG, he ended up playing almost half his games on the 4th line. |

we should get one of these for Ryan McDonagh

In fairness we could hang a banner that says a lot of our players int he 2010s won cups... just not with us.

It's not about 1 player it's who he plays with, and if you're gonna say his linemates are trash fine but he plays well with them. No guarantee that he will have success here. Also there could have been other factors why they hit the eject button when they did.

Yea, other factors like he hadn’t matured yet maybe. I think if he played with strome and Panarin he’d do just fine |
