Poolman has been fine as has D!ckinson. Richardinson does the little things like PK and 200' game that sometimes go missed. He's snake bitten on the scoresheet here so it reflects. Boudreau seems to like the kid so if he pots a few goals a few more will come. He's a good skater with good coverage and can play in the dirty areas.
I'd be more concerned with Pettersson's and Boesers' skating...seems like they are going backwards lol - LordHumungous
Richardy needs some confidence. He's gets chances but hands of stone. |

You're trolling. He's arguably the worst PKer on the team, not a single aspect of his game has been good since coming to Van. - NorthNuck
Lammi is getting praise for being pretty much the exact same players as Richardy. |

The bolded part, I believe he (being big bodied former 6oa who was on pace for 20 goals) is playing in the KHL right now for a Van fan stand point.
Zacha shouldn't be getting a first in return. He's not worth that much right now. Half a PPG player who is a 10th worst plus minus forward in the league. He has only taken 194 face-off's. He's hardly a centre anymore.
Poolman has been steady for the most part. Just because his game isn't flashy doesn't mean he's garbage.
Richardinson isn't as bad as he has been in Van. He's signed to a reasonable contract if he can get back to what he was. So is Poolman 2.5 for 3 more years. If he can be a steady even 3rd pairing, if the cap allows it for that team. Much better to have him much up the line up then guys like Van has in Burroughs or Juulsen. - manvanfan
Zacha is playing in the NHL and is currently on pace for 20 goals. The guy I didn't know who was is Kuokkanen – so he's in the KHL.
I'm not saying Zacha could fetch a first, but he's definitely worth more than Dikinson and Poolman. Zacha, while taking not a lot of draws, is 51%. Diky has taken 253 face-offs (so what, about 1 more a game?) and is an abysmal 43.5%. So if Zacha is hardly a center, what does that make Dikinson?
Your argument that IF Dikinson gets better after he's traded (because he's trash now) and Poolman generally being steady isn't a good package to pitch a team on. Even if you break it down to what they're worth in draft picks (Zacha for a 2nd plus a minor prospect? Poolman and Diky worth something around 5ths?) the math doesn't add up. |

He also sat down with Geoff Courtnall.
Just saying that apparently the owner doesn’t think the dude is as much of a spazz as you do.
Additionally, you certainly have a lot of things to say about a guy who you openly admit to not having heard a thing he’s said for several years.
I honestly don’t care who talks to who. I don’t think Ray is awesome, or a tool, he’s just a guy who says what he thinks, sometimes it hurts people’s feelings. - 1970vintage
Next week he will ask Drance how to become a playoff team.

Jake Virtanen. I'm not sure why you didn't get that reference to a big bodied 20 goal scorer Van fans would know who is now in the KHL.
I would have to say the disappointment you would have in paying a 2nd and a prospect for Zacha would be worse than Codes thinking paying a 3rd for Richardinson was a good trade at that time where he wishes he could take that back 1000 times over.
Brendan Dillon, Justin Braun, Marco Scandella getting a 2nd plus another 2nd or 3rd or 4th round pick in recent years.

Lundkvist is an offensive D man but has 1 goal and 4pts in 25 games in the NHL & 1 goal and 4 pts in 12 games in the AHL. Hes undersized and turning 22 this July. That being your primary piece in a JT Miller trade is ridiculous. Quantity does not equal quality |

He was a filler after a first round pick and a top prospect or young NHLer. Not the primary piece.

Ya I think if Zacha could be had for a 3rd a team would have already ponied up. The guys you all suggested are rentals/in the last gasp of their careers. Zacha being a 24 year old center helps his value.
I'm not saying that's what I would trade for him, just guessing at what his general "value" is in terms of picks. |

It should be either Othmann, Kratsov, Schneider, Kakko plus Rangers first and either a prospect or maybe Chytil depending on which player you get above.
Toffoli getting a mid 20's 1st round pick. A bit developed prospect who is probably close to getting someone like Hoglander, a 5th round pick in 2024 and a guy who has 2 points in 26 games this season. I wouldn't call that a lot. That is more than what Benning paid though, that's for sure.

Those guys were in relation to what Poolman's value would be near.
Zacha worthy of a 3rd, the same price that Van paid for Richardinson.
