Pierre LeBrun@PierreVLeBrunKeep an eye on the Rangers and the Habs between now and March 21. I think Montreal covets some Rangers prospects. Habs could fill some Rangers needs. Montreal would rather add prospects over picks. Already have 12 picks for the July draft. Rangers' pipeline drawing Habs interest

Kravtsov - Snots33_77
That'd be interesting.
If it's for Chiarot though, they'd need to add though no? |

I think for what Kravtsov brings in talent and size.....i think it could be a 1 for 1 with Chiarot because of the expiring contract. Just me speculating/guessing. Who really knows until it all goes down.
But Gorton obviously knows that talent pool more than most. Rangers would rather get rid of an asset that may never play for them rather than dipping into the rest of the pool i'd assume.
But GM's looking to bolster their defense will do some bat poop crazy things, as we see every year.
I think Chiarot would fetch a 1st and a 4th......or a 1st and a B/C prospect on his own tops.

I expect Luthor to go after prospects more than pics, they are looking to speed up the rebuilding process. |

I think Jimmy G is having success in his current system but would find life much harder elsewhere.
He'd be an upgrade for the eagles as QB but not enough to make them beat the Cowboys. - Scabeh
Shanahan's system made Nick Mullens have the 3rd highest total yards over their first 16 starts (one season) ever. Yes Jimmy's numbers are inflated. He also has a top 5 regular season and post season winning percentage ever which should mean something |

They already have 12 picks this draft...prospects make more sense if just to stagger the contracts |

Guys -
Stop all your bullpoop today, we got a real problem: Pitlick on the PP.
Granted, with so many Pitlicks it was bound to eventually happen, but what a cruel joke on a cruel season. |

Harris signing? - AGalchenyuk27
they seem optimistic they will be able to sign him in early April |
|
|
|
i'll take him. - kicksave856
Hurts and a 2nd or 3rd, leaves 3 1sts to fill out the roster, replace Graham and Cox long term, maybe add a CB so you don't have to play the worst zone defense ever again. (Seriously how many QBs had 80%+ and even once I think 90%+ completion percentage this year?)
I'm very open about his flaws but I'm also an unabashed Jimmy supporter. For all the things I hate him for the last five seasons have been fun and all he does when healthy is win |

Gotta make him look good so they can flip him for a late round pick at the deadline |

Well with all the ties they have with him now.... they could tell him they remade their whole hockey operation around him and it would believable.

Kent Hughes says he spoke with Jordan Harris during the All-Star break and again yesterday.
"I remain confident," he said in terms of being able to eventually sign him. |

John Lu@JohnLuTSNMtl·36m#Habs Hughes acknowledges his ties to Jordan Harris (known him since Mite hockey, coached him; sons are teammates with him at Northeastern U) but feels Mtl’s articulation of the plan for Harris and how he fits in will ultimately be the determining factor. @TSN_Edge |

Well one thing is for certain now.
There's definetely a spot for him on that team as soon as we wants.
