I prefer them making the SCF last year with Price and Weber than not making the playoffs for another year without them... - BashCH
Agreed. They were "own" rentals in theory. Again...don't think GMs wanted any part of trading for those contracts anyway |

What’s so annoying is that if Price “retires” à la Weber, the Canadiens will have lost both of their core pieces for nothing, nada, zilch, rien because they will have rode them both for too long. Back in the day, this organization knew when it was time to move on from a player before you couldn’t get anything for them. Moving former stars for draft picks to desperate expansion teams … These are too huge pieces to lose for absolutely nothing - Karine Hains
All praise Samuel Patterson Smyth Pollock for suckering all those other teams for all those years...

looking for perfect answers in an imperfect world will always leave room for misinformation. which is a huge difference from disinformation. |

yeah but I find this is just an unnecessary exaggeration. there is no easy way to prevent disinformation, and there's no easy solution when people are already misinformed, but I don't think we're heading to this dystopian future where everyone is being controlled. my 2 cents. - Pat1993
yes there is, its called education ! Not perfect, but its the best defence against it
Why do you think they want education to be so out of reach in the US ? |

yes yes, that’s why if you transfer them money, they will fix that for you
its always about money, so sad, just taking advantage of gullible people and here too : people being fed up of, well …...basically everything - Xizord
Don't think I've seen government fixing a single (frank)ing thing in my lifetime...Only created more poop on the already existing pile of poop they created before I was born. |

it isn't because facts aren't always clear, and that the solutions and research have evolved concerning a new virus that disinformation isn't a thing. that's total whataboutism.

both of them had huge contracts which prolly limited the market for them. how much do you think a 33-35 year old weber would have returned? keeping in mind the term he still had left on his contract?
goalie rarely return anything close to their value. i mean you could make the argument bergevin should have never extended him to that contract which is valid, imo. - Gramps28
Just allows to take on bad contracts that have 1-2 years left for more picks/prospects. Play your cards right and cap space becomes more valuable, just ask Yzerman how that game is played.
And even if healthy, Price will not be around when they get good again anyways. |

not sure if this is happening up there but i went to drive-thru the other day for a slice of pizza and just happened to look at the receipt. noticed i was being charged a "supply chain surcharge" needless to say, they won't be getting my business again. |

educated people can also be gullible, and be influenced by what they're subjected to on social media or from people around them.

It's not whataboutism at all, for (frank)s sake. I gave you clear examples of cases where the word "disinformation" was wrongly used. You can't tell me it'll never happen again and can't be dangerous whatsoever. |

We don't have drive-thru pizza that I know of but haven't noticed that. That seems really short sighted to me, either it's a result of short term stuff in which case eat it and if it's long term or systemic than charge more for your food but own the price increase as your own. Presentation matters and that's literally passing the buck |

hey everybody, the word "disinformation" was wrongly used, this must be the government and/or big pharma trying to control us!!
wtf. perhaps misinformation would've been more appropriate, but disinformation is definitely a thing, it isn't a movement to censor out what you don't like.
anyways, I'm out for real, penses ce que tu veux. |
