He was caught just watching the play. Not anticipating. Brutal. - Gord_Wilson_2.0
It's just so maddening to watch JBrown.....like Thomson, JBD or MDZ would do a better job in the lineup!

Man. Tough break. So reminiscent of Pascal Leclaire. Would get some momentum and BOOM. Injured. - Gord_Wilson_2.0
Very true, made of glass at times.....he doesn't seem to like any contact at all.....Hasek in his time here, he wouldn't play unless 100% healthy!

Brannstrom looked very good tonight, 2A and was terrific with his transition game even JBrown pulls him down with his defensive deficiencies. |
|

Zach Sanford over 15 min. TOI and not a single hit against his former team. He was horrible tonight! |

Why did he decide to play a body contact sport? I wonder if this is the end of his recent good play.
The team is just too thin on talent right now and they were pretty much dominated especially by that Tarasenko, Thomas and Buchnevich line. I liked Parker Kelly's effort. Got pissed off when they decided to pass the puck into the net on their 5 on 3. Brown was good and Stutzle was more visible than he has been for a while. Tkachuk seems to have misplaced his intangibles. Zub and Holden solid again. I hope they play Brannstrom with Chabot when he gets back but that's not likely to happen as long as Zaitsev is around. |

Last 3 games for Murray, he has stopped 104 of 111 shots, but the Sens were shut out twice and only gave him 2 goals of support in those 3 games! |

All great points. Blues coaching staff used their lines to their advantage. Nick Paul was -3, took 2 penalties and was 8 for 18 in the faceoff circle. Brannstrom was their best defenseman tonight, was also the 3rd star of the game! |

Nick Paul is far more effective on the wing with his strong board play. But too many no shows tonight, Sanford, over 15 min. TOI and not a single hit against his former team. Tierney was benched at times tonight, between these 2, so much dead weight on this roster! |

Ennis looked excellent again last night. There was one shift in particular, he just owned the puck. Put him with better players. |

I want borocop back canβt count how many times I was screaming hit him π π like they would be skating right at them and Ottawa players would try and stick poke as they skate by them β¦ man Boro would of laid a bone crunching hit ππ€·ββοΈ |

For his size, he battles like a guy that is 6'3" and he brings it every shift! Love his play!

Duchene was talking about him the other day during the intermission in one of the Preds games, he was saying how much he brings to the blueline! And PD kept Mike Reilly over Boro only to trade him mid-season the following year. When you look at what each player makes, man.....yet again another screw up by PD!

Finally some of the media in this town are calling out JBrown today for not doing his role! I am with you, Boro on this team would definitely bring a physical presence that this coach wants! |

Chabot out all week!
Murray out and Forsberg is sick, I wonder if Gus and Sogaard are the goalies tmrww night in Buffalo.
Colin White was wearing a contact jersey today! He will be back by the end of the month. |

So important in the NHL and it's really getting tested.
The intangibles that Boro brought to the table (especially in the community) cannot be overstated. |

Yup, so true! Heatherington was called up. I also don't understand why they don't at least try to showcase MDZ for a few games. He has been terrific in the AHL, lets see if he can show a bit better in the NHL now, then move him possibly! |

Yeah his re-signing shows he is clearly appreciated for what he does bring, but his stat line is very underwhelming and he isn't hitting as much this year. Six digits seems right for him. |

Ennis plays awesome in a Sens jersey. He doesn't have everything all the time but he shows stretches where is a dynamic offensive threat - very underrated skill |

100% with you! But common sense doesn't prevail in DJ's world. It was nice to see hear Gord Wilson and Steve Lloyd, along wth Chris Stevenson call out the coaching staff today on the radio for the handling of the defense core! |
