wouldn't it make sense to make the value of E1 a higher probability than said E5?

for example: E1 = 100%, E5 = 20% chance of results?

I just think this whole system is flawed and will open up to some great poop posting in the comments.

I think a better explanation of the grading is: E1- made up crap, E2-made up crap, E3-made up crap, E4-made up crap E5-just saw Dreger post this.

Ahh no. The Wild played CHI 3 times in the last few weeks. MAF got pulled in both games he started.

Don't forget about the Giroux/Berube connection as Chief was CG's coach in Philadelphia. The other thing to consider is how "close to home" G wants to be to his family. I don't think he wants to uproot them and that might get Carolina in the picture as Brind'Amour recently coached G in the all star game.... Rod and Giroux bother "Bled Orange" at one time.....

Giroux just said he is concentrating on the Flyers , he loves it there and will be playing in his 1000 th game as a Flyer on March 17 th.

For this year? Not likely. Maybe in the summer.

Any deal for Edm for a goalie this year has to involve them getting either of their present goalies going back the other way.

I’m still wondering why there is still talk of Halak to the oilers when he reportedly said no a month ago when he was asked to waive his NTC to go there. Also wondering what has changed on the Korpisalo deal. They asked for a second and a third round pick but Edmonton said no thanks. The flyers also turned down an offer of a fifth rounder for Jones from Edmonton. I guess they are holding out for that first rounder.

I'm also wondering how one's becomes a "reliable source" for these E ratings? Like is there a certain percentage of rumors that must be right? For example, if a reliable source says teams are hot after Khudobin but the asking price is too high...and then 24 hours later Khudobin goes on waivers and 31 other teams pass...does that source keep his reliable credentials?

It’s easy, E4+ is closer to E5 but in reality it’s more of a E5- depending on how you look at it. Now when you get to E6 that means the player failed his medical examination which pulls the deal down to a E1 position. From here you might even get into -E1 which means maybe over the summer this deal could surface again, naturally depending on the Cap and the contract. I hope I cleared this up?
