Regretfully it will be left with him as the RCMP are too corrupt to handle it. From the top down.

Always some level of corruption in any Policing organization but you aren't wrong...it's bad right now especially with JT at the Helm. Something will give. The level(s) of corruption are so high it's mind-boggling. I mean hey...just ask the Clintons...

What Benning did and what Benning said were also two different things most of the time.

Either that or he just sucked at accomplishing it

- NewYorkNuck

Without getting into it. He did good things, he did bad things. He did one major thing and not getting a competent coach.

Holy fuck buddy, do you ever stop crying about politics?
This is a fucken hockey site and you cry daily about the fact the 2/3 of the voters in this democratic country don't vote for your political parties.

Now back to hockey, I hope the Flames destroy the Oilers in the battle of Alberta-playoff version 2022

I'm just saying, a major difference in why people are going with what Rutherford is saying and against what Benning was saying is trust. JB said so many things, then undermined what he was saying, whilst also blundering some things, so that people lost trust in him.

Even if Rutherford is saying the same thing (which, lets be honest, 99% of GMs say the same thing), he has a track record of being honest and accountable and good. If he starts poopting the bed or doubling back on his word, people are going to change their tune.

I liked this reply

"How many of people saying awesome said “he shouldn’t take a knee ! No politics in sports ! Respect the anthem “"

Track record of being honest and accountable? You mean like when he tried to sweep wife beating charges under the carpet for his players... and then made one of them a finalist for the GM job for the Canucks?

Hilarious hearing Rutherford say most of the same poop as Benning did, media & fans roasted Jimbo for it but now they praise Rutherford it. Also funny hearing @MikeHalford604 @SadClubCommish now back pedal on the defense now that JR said he likes it.

We get it Jim sounded like a dummy but lots of similarities. JR even said today they feel like they are two years away

It is a good thing that the new group are going to try to fix the age gap. We can look forward to the new Linden Vey

Irfaan Gaffar@irfgaffar

As @frank_seravalli
is reporting, yes a number of teams are interested in Boeser. As of yesterday his camp was told the Canucks would give it another 2/3 weeks to see where the team is at unless they receive an offer they can’t refuse. No chatter from either side about extension.

He is easily worth more than Toffoli IMO. What that looks like though...idk.

I mentioned a couple days ago that I think after March 5th game is when they start making decisions about who they want to dump.

From the great Drance and Dayal

Brock Boeser is simply not going to get dealt in an isolated move. So, there is little worry as far as the forward. His contract is cost prohibitive to every team not just Vancouver.
