Okay. To get to the bottom if it, I have no issue with you liking Florida or TB better. Florida is a powerhouse team and TB has won back to back Cups. What I have an issue with is you saying that Carolina is not a top team and a Cup favorite in this league.
-MJL
Carolina is a very good team, well coached, well structured, but I don't think they are a Cup favorite. Can they get to the finals? Absolutely. Boston got the finals in 2019 simply because the Caps and Tampa got knocked out in the first round, so anything can happen. But I think head to head against Tampa and Florida, Carolina does not win that 7 game series. Against any other team in the East, they would be favored and rightly so. |

There are some rumblings in Boston that Cassidy may be on the hot seat. Typical Bruins style, ice a subpar team and then blame the coach. But if this is true and Cassidy is out after this season, I would love for him to be the Flyers next coach. He is direct and accessible, and a damned good hockey coach also. |

Bill, speaking of potential coaches, i haven't heard much about Kevin Dineen, do you think he would be a fit and potential target? |

Mackinnon's hit on Patrick, wow, not good. I don't think anyone on Vegas addressed it. |

Bill,
Do you think Trotz could be out in NY? I know they had a down year. I don't blame him but they seem to want to make some changes going into next year. |

I know tons of leafs fans that have outright blamed Freddy for their playoff meltdowns. They completely discounted that they mismanaged the cap so badly they couldnt afford a competent backup and therefore Freddy had to basically play every game. They couldn’t afford to just give away 2 points every time one of the backups played so he was basically exhausted come playoffs.
Freddy should never have been asked to play 1b. He’s the better tender. I don’t blame Campbell for the leafs loss last playoff but simply put, he didn’t get it done. Last year the leafs should have tap dance into the final four with the weak Canadian division. - Hextall271
if anyone is to be blamed its dubas for not knowing the difference between good reg season players and playoff players. They are a great team, but theres a few great teams, just shows how hard it is to win

Bill,
What happened with Morin? There is no logical reason a loose bodies correction bleeds into this long a layoff. Did they get in there and find they had to do a full repair to one of the ligaments? - juiced
Was rehabbing. Had a setback. There are only so many times they can operate successfully.
That is how it was phrased when I asked about his status. Feel awful for Sam. |

I think he is the best coach in the NHL. But if he is out, Flyers should be all over it. |

Ristolainen camp thinks he is worth around 6.5-7M, might test the open market, so Philly likely to move him. |

time to commit hara-kiri if Chuckie plays in that stratosphere. Not close to worth that price of admission.

What’s more likely with this organization, a GM admits his mistake and moves on from a pending FA who he traded a heap ton for? Or doubling down on said mistake and lock him up for 6x6? |
