How dare you show your face around here after all the horrible stuff you wrote about the Habs.

I'll join my voices to the ones saying watching the women play in the Olympics is great. I always watch the game in the final vs the US because of the hype around it.
But I would probably never watch the women's hockey league if they created one.
There's already so much entertainment available to me and so little time... I almost cannot imagine a scenario where this is what I end up doing.
It takes nothing away from the girls and how amazing they can play, but I barely watch AHL or LHJMQ games as well... and I'd probably watch those before. |

I have 2 girls, it's fantastic for them to have role models in a sport I like.

comes with the territory when rebuilding. Bergy went all in with some vets on an unsustainable run but we are paying dearly for it now.
That's OK, it's forcing a reset/rebuild and this team needed it. |

The problem is it's a two team world event...and that Finnish goalie, she's nuts. It's kind of like how I wish they could have multiple Canada squads (like the U17's that have Red and Black Canada teams) in men's hockey because one country has so much depth. The USA and Canada on the women's side are just so (frank)ing stacked it's not even fair in comparison. It's not as bad in soccer, but it's similar where there's really only 3 great teams and the rest are just filler.

Well that's why I only watch the final every 4 years.
That game is always something great, you can feel the passion/hate between both teams.
But watching one of them destroy (frank)ing Slovakia 11-0? There's probably a bad movie I haven't watched that's waiting for me.

If Poulin is joining the Habs when she retires (per the roomers) then the management team is doing their job and deserve a high five. - AdamFrench

I probably said it already here, but I think we reached the point where the game and the league changed so much that I wonder how relevant it is to always seek the opinion of former players / coaches who were last active 40 years ago (examples: Michel Bergeron, Serge Savard) |

It's his last season apparently.
I'd gladly have Ron Fournier back on the radio instead. |

Brunet doesn't bother me as much since he's been replaced by Marc Denis. He's better at analysis between periods in my opinion |

yup, and I gotta give credit where credit is due, Brunet did improve a lot since his first appearances on RDS. not the most poignant analyst to listen to, but he isn't cringy anymore, imho.
