well you're right that they have some experience, so it remains to be seen if they can efficiently use that experience in the role they're asked to fill now. in Vinny's case I'm not too worried, since he most likely won"t be taking any decisions himself, and he'll probably be there to simply bring a different perspective, which is why I don't consider his hire as a significant move for the organization...
