I’m hoping the same sentiment works for the Canucks, two loser franchises…one for 52 years, the other for 50 years. Those in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. - LeftCoaster
It has nothing to do with winning or losing, it has everything to do with actually providing some revenue towards the league, instead of continually being a nipple sucker. |

That could be said for a lot of US based teams over the years, not disagreeing with you, but it’s not isolated to Phoenix. |

I’m not saying anyone is available he said finding cap wiggle room. - Nighthawk
Cap wiggle room is the last reason to move JTM. If that is a plan they are strongly considering, they need to be fired now. He is one of the very best contracts in the NHL at the moment.
Any reasoning to move Miller starts and ends with the assets it brings in to help this team long term while sacrificing short term.
The list of players to move for cap space is pretty decent. Miller isn't on that list if any of this management has a brain. |

Well it’s one of the fastest growing cities in North America for starters. It’s a major metropolitan that has every sports team. They suck revenue out of the league because they have had brutal ownership and no rink - CanuckDon
Surrey is also one of the fastest growing Metropolitans in North America, maybe they should just move the deadbeat Coyote organization there, where fans will actually attend games. |

The city is in a desert of bath salts. It would be named Bath Salt City if it were not for the problem of confusing it for Salt lake City in Utah.

Yup, Canada supplies 50% of the league Revenue, yet have less than 25%of the teams. |

Total sidenote, but it would be interesting to see who on here hated that trade at the time and compare that to their current thoughts on JTM.

I thought about this last night. I remember a bunch of people freaking about what JB gave up because Miller was just a cap dump.

You’d better relocate the Panthers, Devils, Senators and Sabres then too. |

Common sense, we’re a hockey nation. Hockey is a niche sport in the USA and always will be unless said city has a contending team. |

I agree, or better yet, just eliminate teams, way too many teams are watered down, even moreso than what has happened in the past. |

Comparing Surrey to phoenix. Also, why to you keep skipping over the fact the stadium is essentially in chilliwack? |

Everyone hated it right away when announced . After an hour most came around and many b1tched about it for years for one reason or another but mostly because of the timing of the franchise.
