he put up 26 points in 56 games last year, girgens does that in 2 full seasons

you have been fat shaming him since he was drafted

- homiedclown

He had a opportunity to restart his career in my opinion was the perfect place in boston he picked food and not working out

He needs to get a serious trainer that will help him restart his career again

If he gets healthy, he's my surprise trade

Good Read! Long

Donnie Meatballs probably won't end up being a Stanley Cup head coach in Buffalo. He may not even be able to get them into the playoffs, especially with the East being as strong as it is. Even so, with the way he's handled these player from a development perspective, they need to retain him and find an appropriate place for him within the org.

See how Donnie grows as a HC. Think with Appert in Rochester they have good developmental coaches throughout.

They played a great game, and Colorado was as good as advertised. It was such a fun game to watch. It reminded me a lot of very early 1990's hockey before before the left wing lock and neutral zone trap were employed. Fast play, heavy hits, a lot of goals, and some big saves. If the NHL could bottle that 82 times for each team, they would get back to early 1990s popularity levels too.

Sabres need a heavy hitter on defense, someone who can play though. I actually like that kid Lyubushkin that just got traded if we can't land a Theodore Cernak Korczak. Kadri or Hertl would be very nice adds, worth a call if they hit FA but that's a dream, Fiala would be a nice add and depending on the cost Lawson Crouse intrigues me for a top 9 big body who could pop 15-20 goals

I have a feeling they are going to draft Nemec or Jiricek if Slafkovsky is not there when they pick.

The young Fitzgerald looks scrappy. We could use a more goonish type though. We're really all saying it without saying it: we need Z back to goon it up.

Does Columbus have a goalie down, or are they about to trade one?

His game never stated

Disagree. He was a solid depth guy for Anaheim and Boston. As Homie pointed out, he put up good numbers during his last season with the Bruins.

We should, what ever way they go they are gonna have to draft a few RD, sorely lacking in the organization
