I'm sure... no rush though, would be nice if the right deal came along this season |

I'm hopeful Pete, then Drouin, Edmundson, Dvorak and maybe Gallagher in the offseason.... target prospects over picks - OB
That’s even taller.
I like that too!! |

It's time to strip this whole thing down, right? Take 2-3 years to really build a team that can compete every year without having to rely on a goalie to stand on his head every night |

hopefully Petry has turned a corner with that pass to Caufield in OT the other night, and he'll start playing like an actual NHL dman again. |

Hoffman is a proven goal scorer on a good deal, they could get a decent prospect for him right now.... and despite Petry's struggles this season, there would be a half dozen teams or more looking to acquire him before the playoffs - OB
petry has 3 years left on his contract. those are not the type of guys teams generally look to acquire at the TDL. Plus, IMESHO, he looks done. |

Norlinder has a shot.... the left side of the D looks pretty solid moving forward, the right side not so much |

He's a RD with size and he skates very well, not looking for a giant return for him but he could fetch a decent prospect |

who has played awful this season and teams are going to be leery because of the term left on his contract. especially at 34. if he was a pending free agent and even had one year left, maybe.
also. he looks cooked. i have watched a few games and he just isn't the same.
i mean i guess there are always dumb GMs out there but i don't think the return will be anything decent. he may be addition by subtraction at this point. |

for sure. it makes the games much more interesting to watch... they could still eventually send him to Laval to help them in the playoffs but a stint in the AHL doesn't seem to be necessary anymore in his case, which is awesome. |

yeah he looks dead inside, and tired AF... but if the issue is mostly between the ears there's still a chance he turns things around.

I agree.... let's keep him on that Suzuki/Anderson line and let him get some confidence in the back half of this season |
