Getting Caufield going was without a doubt one of the top priorities for St Louis coming in, seems to have done a good job so far

oh, I guess Wikipedia isn't the most reliable source of hockey info, that would be Joe Sakic, with 8... Richard has 6, Perry has 5.

He was dull AF, Marty.brings emotions, a sense of care even if the roster is horrible.... love that hire, has done wonders for Caufield already and it will only have a positive effect on the rest of the roster going forward

having him play on the 4th line wasn't helping either... agreed on the "St-Louis effect" so far, although it's still a bit early to confirm that he'll be a good coach in the NHL, given his lack of experience, and how bad things can sometimes get when an ex-player becomes coach.

I think Gorton and Hughes will build a team that suits him, the interim tag is just a formality at this point, pretty sure he's gonna be around awhile

Right!

While on the G subject, heard Georgiev's name tossed around as a possible target out of New York, not sure the Habs are ready to toss all their eggs in the Primeau basket just yet.... so many names from the Rangers that make sense for the Habs and with the Gorton connection, something is bound to go down!

I think the word "quinquennial" has been completely erased from the habs' vocabulary, Gauthier and Gainey sort of ruined that concept.
