lol so from 2014-21 he was the GM in PIT and was very busy there building/trading what have you and a few cups. 73 years old now and you are telling me he is gonna spend the next 7 years here building a winner? Good on him if the does but just saying it like it is man. It's a damn good retirement job here...

Halak should start vs Kraken. Hoping Boudreau recognizes this and gives Demmer a break so he's ready for the big showdown and hoedown vs CGY on Thursday. Mr 'Vezina' and Mr 'Norris' will be in house. KY-Man will be slurping Marky's jockstrap for awhile now... - LordHumungous
I know he's down in Sayulita where it's relatively cheap, but is this guy living rent free too?

Similar to that gap toothed creep that played for Canucks years ago...can't remember his name (and i''m good with that tbh) - dbot
The AHL is a great development league. |

Dzingel on waivers. That's a pretty nice kick in the teeth. Goes from playing in the NHL to the minors. |

True.
But he could find himself in the playoffs as a injury fill in...vs golfing... |

If you are trading Horvat, maybe we could stick with this trend of the Nucks giving their scraps to the Flames. He is exactly the kind of player Flames need.
Any chance he is playing injured? Might explain his drop off in play. |

He's always been streaky plus he's a wussy. So there is that. Sutter wouldn't put up with him. Better off getting Monahan going... |

He is a 22 goal a year guy who is great at face offs and also disappears for half of the year. It would be wonderful to see him in a full season . He is what he is. A very good pick up but definitely not a leader.

No one but me on here seems to think how clutch he is in the play offs as anything to add to the list of pros and cons. Never. How does that not get considered when talking about his leadership?

He was very good in the playoffs but getting to the POs is the challenge .

So it doesn't count right? I mean his value in a trade is being discussed and that gets no mention.
He is, not was...
Year to year Bo has been this teams most constant player even though he can be inconsistent during the season... |

Not interested in activating Halak’s bonus yet. Rather keep trying to move him. Delay starting him. |

I have used this analogy a few times being the best apple in a barrel of bad apples does not make it a good apple.
Bo may be the most consistent Canuck but that does not make him a great player. He is a steady 22 goal scorer but half the nights I wonder what the hell has he done. Agree or disagree I think that is how a lot of fans feel. |

Bo is a proven PO performer. He doesn’t get the team to PO’s by himself. Ever since Boeser was put with Miller & EP he’s had a revolving door of wingers. Give him the winger that compliments him. The 3rd wheel completes his line. Secondary scoring has been a problem. Bouncing back from behind is difficult when push back is inconsistent. Simply not enough heart for stretches this season. |

A barrel of poop apples can tarnish a good one in the batch...
Anytime a leadership debate comes up about Bo, I'm the only one who brings up just how much he steps his game up and carries in the play offs. Yes that's only relevant if you make the play offs but the point is, it shows leadership in spades. Most in here focus on whether he jumps guys after a big hit etc... which is pretty simple minded imo.
I'm definitely not one of those "what have you done for me lately" personalities on here. This place is pathetic for that. Day to day if shows its ugly ignorant head in here. Just look at the last couple of weeks... after a couple of wins only one or two players need to go for cap relief... then a bad loss... everyone must go except 1 or 2 players to start the rebuild... back and forth up and down like a sea saw... |

I roasted Petey & he’s responded so I backed off.
Boeser although he can snipe & that is a valuable commodity he still relies on a play driver & the PP. The PP isn’t lighting it up either. He can be invisible when needed most.
Bo isn’t the problem it’s finding linemates for him that’s a challenge.
Garland plays with passion every game & no quit. Lb for Lb good.
Miller is our best F but also is getting wasted through this roller coaster times. I want to keep him but hard to say no to a big offer.
Hughes like or not is going nowhere.
Demko well he’s a pillar.
Pod/Hog both very young. Patience.
Dlckinson & Pearson are needed vets but at this time they’re are expendable as not good enough so go for picks.
Lammi/Motte/Highmore great value. |
