I roasted Petey & he’s responded so I backed off.
Boeser although he can snipe & that is a valuable commodity he still relies on a play driver & the PP. The PP isn’t lighting it up either. He can be invisible when needed most.
Bo isn’t the problem it’s finding linemates for him that’s a challenge.
Garland plays with passion every game & no quit. Lb for Lb good.
Miller is our best F but also is getting wasted through this roller coaster times. I want to keep him but hard to say no to a big offer.
Hughes like or not is going nowhere.
Demko well he’s a pillar.
Pod/Hog both very young. Patience.
Dlckinson & Pearson are needed vets but at this time they’re are expendable as not good enough so go for picks.
Lammi/Motte/Highmore great value. - Nighthawk
He phoned me and asked if you could back off
When you have the same debate year after year it is not what have you done for me lately.
I think if you look at the team they look like a bunch of scrawny and undersized kids. There is no toughness and the leadership is paper thin.
You will not win with this group as it stands. Again it is my opinion .

He was very good in the playoffs but getting to the POs is the challenge . - VANTEL
That is true he is good in the PO's. |

If you are trading Horvat, maybe we could stick with this trend of the Nucks giving their scraps to the Flames. He is exactly the kind of player Flames need.
Any chance he is playing injured? Might explain his drop off in play. - DuranDuran
He’s always a slow starter and these breaks in games since Christmas feels like training camp. |

Last nights game every shot was an adventure for both goalies, to bad the canucks didn’t get going in this one they might have won 8 to 7 lol |

Not a successful one anyway. They might make it because the rest of the division is worse than them. |

A barrel of poop apples can tarnish a good one in the batch...
Anytime a leadership debate comes up about Bo, I'm the only one who brings up just how much he steps his game up and carries in the play offs. Yes that's only relevant if you make the play offs but the point is, it shows leadership in spades. Most in here focus on whether he jumps guys after a big hit etc... which is pretty simple minded imo.
I'm definitely not one of those "what have you done for me lately" personalities on here. This place is pathetic for that. Day to day if shows its ugly ignorant head in here. Just look at the last couple of weeks... after a couple of wins only one or two players need to go for cap relief... then a bad loss... everyone must go except 1 or 2 players to start the rebuild... back and forth up and down like a sea saw... - boonerbuck
Linden always played his best in the spring, horvat is similar. He’s looked sluggish lately like the rest of the team. |

No one said anything about the SCF's.
I think they'll make the dance tho. - dbot
Hey dbot did you see that Brodie Retallick pass in the Chiefs Highlanders game? it was beautiful for a big man. |

8. JT Miller, Canucks
Likelihood of a trade: Medium.
Here’s how one executive described Miller: “Multi-position player. Competitive nature. At the most important time of year, it’s still hand-to-hand combat. You want guys like Miller who won’t be pushed out of those types of games. This guy’s a throwback. I love him.”
So why would the new regime in Vancouver want to trade Miller, unless they get an outrageously attractive offer? Good question. On the one hand, the Canucks do need to create cap space and both Bo Horvat and Elias Pettersson are likely untouchable. So according to one source, in order, they’d prefer to move out Tanner Pearson, Conor Garland and Brock Boeser before they start thinking about trading Miller.
Gonna be a lot of trades |

Tanner Pearson, Conor Garland
Now just get rid of a bunch of defence also. Canucks could walk away with 6 picks in the next two drafts |

Hope so! Team certainly needs a mixup of players. The Benning method of throwing poop against the wall to see what sticks was obviously not a path to success.
If you’re not a heavy team you need to be a quick team or a really talented team, when you’re none of those, you’re not gonna have much success.
When you look back since the 2005 lockout, the three teams who had the most success (Chicago-Pittsburgh-Los Angeles) they all had different a different makeup. |

JR’s focus now Boeser and Miller for Malkin. |
