15°C already here on our patio, high of 25°C today. Then cooling off for three days as a Pacific Northwest low pressure system settles in. And then back up near 30°C - kids and grandkids are coming on Friday, just in time for the hot weather.

They should have at least 2 or 3, one after almost a decade of drafting is embarrassing. Stop defending something just for the sake of arguing. When you’ve drafted in the bottom ten for almost a decade your circumstances are not the same as everyone else’s….context.
- LeftCoaster

To be fair there's another. His name is Gus Forsling and he plays top 4 on one of the best teams in the NHL. I'm sure we got a nice piece for him in the trade...... didn't we.......

I’m just having a conversation

Golfing ok, not as much as I’d like but playing well, 6.8 index. Put the Honma’s back in the bag as I ordered a three iron and got it bent 2° upright, it’s 18 degrees of loft, so much like a 2 iron. I smash that thing 240 yards down the pipe.

Srixon X5 driver isn’t as hot as many but it’s very straight, I don’t spray the ball with it.

- LeftCoaster

Nice. Heard the new Srixon Zstar balls are killer too. have yet to try a sleeve. Just taking my Mizuno MP-5's in for a loft check in a few weeks to get ready. Golf is still 8 weeks away here though lol or more. And the courses take about a month to get into shape. Not really changing anything in the bag might look at a 4 hybrid or 7-wood hard to say. Buying two boxes of the titleist Prov1x 'left dash' and now they have a 'left dot' ProV1. Will be interesting to say the least. That Prov1X left dasher is the best ball I have hit in a long time. Way better and longer than the Callaways. Low spin off the tee and workable with the horns. Handicap at 8.9 right now but will get that down a few as playing way more this season. Plus the mountain bike can't wait to get out..

Gonna be a rough go if they can't get a save here and there. 7/22 I bet Woodcroft is a little tired of the 33% rule lol

Oh, yes that context you keep talking about. Something that you only refer to if it fits the Lefty narrative.
Which you don't ever actually provide context. You just spout off about being a junior player 😆

Reason you must like golfing so much because your teams did a lot of it.

I think Miller + Motte for Laffy + Krav would be somewhat balanced. I don't think they're giving up Schneider at this point.

I doubt you are getting the first overall selected player from (checks internet) 2020 for anything less than a star player, and I would assume the team would want more than 1 year of contract certainty. I could see Lafreniere for Hughes, if they were looking for a D. But adding more marginal pieces to Miller doesn’t make it more appealing.

I would agree if it was two teams trading from the same position (like the Ryan Johansen for Seth Jones trade).. but Miller is a star *right now*. Top 20 in the league in points, plays any forward position, PKs, PP, drive, etc etc. If the NYR think he puts them over the top while their other stars are in their prime (Panarin and Kreider and Strome and Trouba and Fox et al), then that becomes part of the math, no?

If keeping Laffy as the "next wave" of forwards keep the franchise in the top 10 of the league after Panarin and others start their decline, that's great. But if getting JTM puts them in the top 3 of the league for the next couple (or more) years, that might be of more interest in terms of winning a cup.

As well, it's not like Laffy is lighting it up. He's stuck behind Kreider and Panarin at the moment on the LW. He has fantastic potential, but it's not being realized at the moment.

That backchecking by McBaby on the 3rd goal....leadership. They showed a replay of it from behind the net. I think he might've just made it out of the offensive zone while the puck was going into his net. To me, that's as soft as it gets.

Coach Woodcock has his work cut out for him. I'd have freaked then benched him for the 3rd.

5 games in 7 days. They were all tired. At least the ice time has been better managed now than under Tippett.

I didn't watch the last game, but Twitter has been nothing but people wanting to trade Horvat for the last 2 days, seems like it came out of nowhere to me?
