I saw someone name Andrew Hammond the "Tankburglar" after yesterday's win

I'm gonna go with that name for him from now on.

is he in net tonight against the laffs? he played really well yesterday but his flaws will probably resurface eventually, he's known to be rather inconsistent so I'm sure on some nights he'll be contributing to the tank job as well...

Pretty sure Montembeault will get tonight’s game as it’s a back to back but i wouldnt be surprised to see an alternance system until Allen is back, if Hammond keeps it up of course.

that would make sense. and Montembeault's game seems to have improved recently (like pretty much the whole team lol), not having to face 50+ shots every night surely helps a lot

Montembeault should be the starter at least until Allen comes back.

He's playing very well right now.

The Tankburglar will get his games too obviously, but I don't expect him to play as well as he did against the Islanders every time.

i love how people are worried about our tank status all of a sudden.

the team is 10-40. our 2 goalies are a guy who was waived in September and a guy who i honestly thought up until 7 days ago was dead.

we've already traded our best player. and we're likely to trade 2-3 more useful pieces in the next month.

i like the impact Marty is having and i think he's intruiging as a long-term fix ala RBA in Carolina, but think we'll be OK to finish last.

Saw a rumor that mtl was after Samsonov from the Caps. Not sure what to make of this, but they may want to see what they have before doing anything.

well they already know what they don't have, and that's a legit #1 NHL goalie... Primeau isn't ready, so I guess it depends on the outcome with Price.

Primeau might not be ready now, but might be at some point. Maybe they just want a stop gap untill he can do the job, or Price will be back next season.

If they sell some pieces at the TDL next season won't be easy either
