Bellows in particular. It’s time to piss or get off the pot, so far as his future with the organization is concerned.

Bellows play the remainder of the year will probably play into what Lou does in the summer somewhat significantly. If they think he's a real option for the 3rd line next season they can probably skip that aisle when they go shopping in free agency. If they don't, that's a spot they'll have to fill one way or another.

From what you’ve seen thus far, what sort of player do you think Bellows is going to become?

Honestly? Maybe one of those 3rd line guys that can put up like 20g, 15a kind of seasons and be a physical presence/PP specialist.

He's not a guy that drives the play himself and I don't think his skating is good enough to create space for himself and have the kind of production he'd need to in order to be a regular top-six player.

I'm joking obviously. I don't like real margaritas, let alone some canned piles of crap

Don't think any of this was posted, but take it as you will:

James Nichols @JamesNicholsNYI

Josh Bailey joins Chara and Varlamov in the group of players teams are calling about from the #isles

James Nichols @JamesNicholsNYI

As I wrote last week, there’s interest in Zdeno Chara and teams are calling. @PierreVLeBrun confirms it below. #isles

James Nichols @JamesNicholsNYI

An interesting note on Varlamov, the #VegasBorn have inquired about the #isles goaltender as first reported by @TheFourthPeriod. No indication as to how serious or not those talks were.

James Nichols @JamesNicholsNYI
13h
Per @TheFourthPeriod, the #MNWild are believed to have had a conversation about Josh Bailey with the #isles. Nothing imminent at the moment.

The #isles possibly offsetting big contracts like Bailey and Varlamov comes as no coincidence.

Per source, early indications are the #isles are preparing to be heavy suitors this summer for Filip Forsberg. Other players, #GoHabsGo and #GoKingsGo

Wait there’s interest in Chara? Can’t be any of the Twitter, Reddit, HB GMs calling that’s for sure!

To be fair, there have been a GREAT MANY decisions made by actual GMs that the socials could see were bad JuJu.

Let’s be honest here and stop humoring this stupid crap. There isn’t a team considering acquiring Chara who doesn’t look at him as anything more then a depth 7 or tops a #6 defenseman. If they stupidly look at him as anything more or play him as anything more then that any opposing team in the playoffs will exploit him being out there anytime they’re on home ice. Period.

I’ve probably been the least negative person when it comes to Chara on here but to say that guy has been anything more then a sieve who fights occasionally would be a false statement. You know that, I know that, and so does everyone else and if they don’t do us all favor and kill yourself(not you or anyone really just anyone stupid enough to believe he’s anything more then that is a waste of oxygen).

Fixed.

Also, I agree completely.

That said, it wouldn’t shock me if someone ponied up a decent pick for him.

Depends on the market really as we all know but if we get anything more then a 4th rd pick I consider it a win. Idk maybe there’s a gm out there that hasn’t watched his play with Washington last year and us this year and thinks he’s still an all star defenseman.

I could see him fetching a 3rd if the conditions were right.

of course. When Salic was trading Duchene and waited and waited he was beaten by the social media GMs. Look at his Ave’s now.
