So he is not a good player?

For his role I think he can be solid player as a 4th line winger. Could he play a Matt Martin role. Maybe he could add penalty killing to his game moving forward.

The guy isn't a slug and I think with better players you could see an uptick in his game. not 20 goals but be an effective 4th line player. He'll always be a pretty inexpensive player so that helps when building the roster. He 25 so maybe more can be added to his game .

I don't see him as anything special. Combined with the fact that he doesn't fit any niche's on the team such as playing on the PK. Along with not being very productive. I'd rather see the roster spots open for younger players. I think he is a slug for lack of a better term.

I actually don't mind MacEwan on the fourth line. He skates well and I think he has more skill then people assume. I could see him producing a little more with better players on his line moving forward.

What young players? Willman is 27. Mayhew is like 29. MacEwen is 25. The “He doesn’t play on the PK” is nonsense for multiple reasons. For starters our PK isn’t good, which means anyone you’ve placed there already isn’t working. Along with, Giroux and Couturier when healthy have started on the PK together the passed number of years. Why is our top line players starting on the PK if there is such a trust in our bottom six players? Giroux, Couturier, Hayes, Laughton, Farabee and Lindblom are the rotation it would seem if we had a healthy team. Where are the fourth line players? Brown wouldn’t even be here if we were healthy.

It would be nice to see how Sushko or Sandin would do. Even Tanner L has been playing recently. Nothing against the Bunnyman per se, I would just like to see some others get a shot. We should sit Willman and Mr. High Energy and let some others have a shot.

We need to trade any asset that is able to fetch a return. Can't let them walk for nothing, especially G and TK. But we need to be aggressive. Won't replace them via trade but this season is poop. UFA. Trades over summer.

Flyer fans seem to just want to female dog about anything..... Schenn is a top 6 player in his prime. There is no suprise he is going to score and comparing him to a rookie is beyond ridiculous

It ended up being a mistake because the GM bungled away the return. Gotta laugh as people try to say either Holmgren or Hextall was the better personnel guy...truth is it was neither. Now we head into year three of Fletcher. Thumbs pointing down there as well. There are a few young guys in tge system but they have a poor record of developing these guys...btw..watching this game...time to sit Provorov, talk about tanking!

The return for Schenn wasn't bungled. They got two very talented players for him. It was too good of a return to pass up.
