I did see Yandle make a play in the D zone, in front of the net - wcorvette
Actually his iron streak a positive thing in this flyers season. Alot of attention from many hockey outlets. |

That guy is shot. He'd be better off getting traded and starting over. |

I don't have the guts to trade him but is a shell of himself. |

Remember when people thought he’d contend for Norris trophies?
The only thing to be said for him is he plays every game. With this franchise and training staff that’s a miracle, but he kinda sucks. |

Provy is good, but he's not really a true top pair damn. Currently it seems to me that he takes too much on himself to make a play to win. I like him, but he's been making too many mental mistakes for a top damn. |

I thought he was skating the puck well tonight. He had a few nice rushes into the offensive zone. He also gave away the puck a few times. He’s not great on the PP, but seems to be the Flyers best option. I thought Risto was supposed to have some offensive upside and PP ability yet is never given a chance. He seldom sees the ice in OT too.

Me either. Just saying he'd be better off. I don't see this team just turning it around quickly. |

He's been beat down by this organization. If he played anywhere else he would be a really good player. It's all mental for him. He's just had way too much weight put on him.

It's been 2 years of this poop. I question why any of them want to stay. |

I agree. He's talented and isn't afraid of contact unlike another talented damn, but I believe that he's trying to make a play too much in frustration. |

In my opinion the frustration is overwhelming for Provorov and has been for a while.

Provorov doesn't suddenly suck so much as he's being overplayed nightly by a very, very bad team.
If he was playing 3-4 less minutes a game and if this team had a bit more talent he'd look more like the player most of us remember drafting.
He will be fine. |

How many other defensemen in the league would be put on this team for the last couple seasons, and be thought as having down years.
It’s not the players on the ice, blaming them while ignoring deep rooted issues is a lazy way of analysis. |

There is a reason why our players move on and become successful. He hasn’t had a true top pair D partner for one season in his career. I’m not even sure the Flyers have had a properly coached defense since Ken Hitchcock. Hitch is the last coach I can think of who dramatically changed the structure of this team. |

People have a full right to question the current direction proposed by Scott, and Fletcher.
Even teams we like to point fingers at, and laugh. Ottawa, and Edmonton. Which fanbase do you think gets more joy out of watching their team?
Ottawa has plenty of issues but they have Chabot, Stutzle, Norris, Tkachuk and Batherson to look forward to developing.
Edmonton with known problems, but have the chance at watching McDavid, along with Draisaitl every evening.
The Flyers have what exactly? The proposed direction of a simple retool is asinine. |

We’re gonna trade Giroux. A career Flyer and one of the longest running captains in the league. We have our own version of a Steve Yzerman or a Joe Sakic and we’re gonna have to trade him because the organization has wasted his career. There is no telling when we’ll get another Giroux back. |

Is Briere back from his scouting trip? What’s Timonen doing these days? The Flyers need a new temporary head coach. For me it is unwatchable.
