So after two months they have decided everyone is tradable and they are talking to people.

Outstanding

Edit. They have now hired Faber

I expect Minivan and Nucker to be the next two internet hires from the Canucks. Or it could be Buck Foston seeing they like hiring internet people that bad mouth them .

Brad Shaw is now the PK coach. Third coach of the year to try to get the PK working.

Baumer fail Benning

When you look at the pieces he started with from the Murray regime, it's quite impressive. Team was poop...

Like I said... #narratives All the best pieces were added by Burke.

Burke inherited a team that missed the playoffs. Here's the players he started with...

Over 30s – Sergei Fedorov, Sandis Ozolinsh, Steve Rucchin
Mid-Late 20s – JS Giguere, Petr Sykora, Ruslan Salei, Sammy Pahlsson, Rob Niedermeyer, Andy McDonald
Early 20s – Joffrey Lupul, Chris Kunitz, Vitaly Vishnevski, Ilya Bryzgalov

From there he signed UFA's Teemu Selanne and Scott Niedermeyer... two incredible pieces to that cup run. He inherited nothing like that from Murray.

Then he started making trades...

Todd Fedoruk from Philly for 2nd round pick
Travis Moen from Chicago for Mikael Holmqvist
Trevor Gillies from Rangers for Steve Rucchin
Bruno St. Jacques from Carolina for Craig Adams
Francois Beauchemin and Tyler Wright from Columbus for Sergei Fedorov
Maxim Kondratiev from Rangers for Petr Sykora and 4th round pick
3rd round pick from Rangers for Sandis Ozolinsh
2nd round pick and Brett Skinner from Vancouver for Keith Carney
Jeff Friesen from Washington for 2nd round pick
Sean O’Donnell from Phoenix for Joel Perrault

Chris Pronger from Edmonton for Joffrey Lupul, Ladislav Smid, two 1st round picks (one of which became Jordan Eberle) and a 2nd round pick

More signings...

Shawn Thornton, Travis Green, Ian Moran

Then more trades....

Karl Stewart and a 2nd round pick from Atlanta for Vitaly Vishnevski
2007 4th round pick from Philadelphia for Todd Fedoruk
George Parros from Colorado for a 2nd round pick (which eventually became TJ Galiardi) and a 3rd round pick
Chris Durno, Sebastien Caron, Matt Keith from Chicago for PA Parenteau and Bruno St. Jacques
Richard Jackman from Florida for 6th round pick
Mark Hartigan, Joe Motzko from Columbus for Zenon Konopka and Curtis Glencross

Then at the deadline before the cup...

Gerald Coleman and a 1st round pick from Tampa Bay for Shane O’Brien and a 3rd round pick
Brad May from Colorado for Michael Wall

Safe to say Burke put together one hell of a team and it wasn't in place what so ever like you claim. Also, the 11 new players I mention must have been just the 1st season alone.

Burke absolutely smashed lol. Niedermayer Pronger Beauchemin lmao. That's how you win a freaking cup

I don't really get what you're so worked up about. The Canucks record since Benning was fired is pretty good. They probably want to give the team a shot in the playoffs IF it looks like they could qualify.

The longer they hold onto Miller, the better as long as he doesn't get injured. You don't have to rush out and trade ANY player on this team. The longer you wait things out the picture will become more clear.

Flames haven’t lost since they added the Great Toffoli. Tomorrow will be fun, can you wear something distinctive so we can recognize you.
Actually pretty jealous, enjoy the game.

I agree Canucks don't need a guy who can score or set up plays. Would ruin the chemistry of our mediocracy.

As a “contributor”. He will be writing about the AHL and other prospects for canucks.com, but way to freak out about the management group.
