This statement is sad and true
Next we will be missing Gaunce. |

I have never seen so much admiration given to a group that has done so little.
- VANTEL
That’s just the thing though isn’t it? I don’t recall a single person actually showing any admiration for “the group”. Yes, plenty of sentiments of thankfully Frankie finally did something, and they have hired a multitude of people who have all been successful in their previous roles. Much like when Benning first joined the Canucks. I don’t recall a single person suggesting Benning was going to fail when he first started.
Anyway, whatever, freak out or don’t freak out, makes no difference. |

You’re right, he was worse. - LeftCoaster
I guess that means the Canucks were justified in keeping Benning for as long as they did then. Other GM’s do bad stuff too, so it’s all good. |

It's almost as if they got someone with solid writing experience to write for them. Crazy times we live in. - neem55
I’m sure if everyone here put there heads together we could come up with at least one reason why almost every single member of the hockey media in Vancouver has been critical of the Canucks over the past ten years. |

Actually the ones that are freaking out are you sensitive Nancies. I am just stating I haven't seen so many so excited about a group that has done nothing and here you are to defend the new group.
They have done absolutely nothing except hire a bunch of inexperienced staff . If you haven't seen anyone showing admiration then you clearly missed the days of JR will fix it group.
That's okay keep slurping and admiring nothing .

Ya its definetly a wish list with high hopes, for me landi g one or two of the guys on here would be big. Miller and Manson fill a big hole on the right side. Lindholm would be a homerun at the right price as well. D has been our biggest issue for a decade. I hope they start there. - neem55
Pretty sure there was a rumour floating around that Manson nixed a trade to the Jets last off-season because he has every Canadian team on his NTC list |

No optimism. Who liked the last sparse front office? |

I am as optimistic as anyone but having a roomful of inexperience does not mean it is a good thing. Just more people sitting around a table shrugging their shoulders.
If they actually hire someone that seems like they can contribute then maybe but so far it seems like a lot of keep your enemies closer hires.

The new front office has made no mistakes. There has been no knee jerk reactions. Everybody is happy Benning & Weisbrod are gone.
New group has nothing to prove cuz it’s a new beginning. Once some moves happen will be the time to analyze & slice n dice it to heck. The clock starts then. |

There is nothing to say it’s a bad thing or so-called experience is better. Rather a fresh approach than retreads all over the place. |

No you’ve been putting them down. Others are just interested in the new hires & bigger front office with them having delegated roles. |

His dad played in Winnipeg too so I'm not sure if that matters too much to him. Good chance he has a wife/gf from Cali who doesn't want to move up North |
