Too bad Podkolzin is a plodding skater, unlike Bure, fastest player ever

I don’t hate Pod, as he’s a good kid but he’s just an ok bit player. Now, if he had Boeser’s offensive abilities to go along with his defensive awareness he might excite me. He’s got 13 points in 50 games, not exactly setting the roster on fire. Boeser had 55 points in 62 and lead the team in scoring at the same age as a rookie. I wonder how long it will take before the fans are running Podkolzin out of town

When most of these kids like Brock, Pouty etc, arrived, this team had very minimal, if any offensive talent, so they were gifted all the easy playing time, like PP and offensive zone starts, where now that they have some offensive talent, the younger players arriving don't get the same opportunity.

He was playing with Horvat and Sven Baertschi - lol, those offensive dynamos. He did get PP time with the older but world class Sedin twins though.

I definitely fit into that category lol, I grew up cheering for them though, so at least I have an excuse. It’s the people that actually choose to cheer for them, they didn’t grow up with them, I seriously question their intelligence. Historically the Canucks have been one of the worst managed sports teams in all of sports, not just hockey!
