Bo’s 5v5 play hasn’t been this ineffective in a long time. He’s basically a PP specialist this year. I see other players that play against top lines with way better 5v5 production. We need to stop with the low bars and sad excuses, that’s Benning mentality - Nucker101
You do realize Bo has back injury, don't you? |

So he gets the back injury excuse and Pouty’s wrist is just him whining?

Pouty and his supporters have raised the wrist injury several times, Bo hasn't said anything about being injured.
Other than myself speculating about a back injury, I doubt we will ever hear anything else about it.
I only suspect a back injury from seeing footage of him walking into a rink a couple times this season, it screams bad back. |

Who cares who said what. Both players are sucking and if they’ve both played chunks of the season injured then they’re in the same boat.
You don’t think the Sedins played through sore backs from all the cross checks they got? Kesler was constantly banged up with his play style. They still produced fine. |

Green was garbage, but ultimately it was Bennings call to waive him. - Reubenkincade
True. Benning should have overrode his decision to cut him from the team. He let Green decide the roster he was going to "win" with. Same with ZacMac. I would have told Green tough titty on both those players over free agents that probably won't even be here next season.

became a searcher, wanting to discover who i was and what made me precise. my view of myself turned into changing. i desired a stable base to start from. i commenced to resist3 stress to behave in ways that i didn’t like any greater, and i used to be delighted by who i in reality become. i got here to feel a good deal extra sure that no one can ever take my region.

I am not defending either player, they have both sucked for most of the last 2 seasons.
Edit: remember, I have stated that no one on this team is untouchable and if I could, I would trade every one of these hot garbage players, except Spencer Martin. |

5v5 goal leaders:

Pod (8)
5v5 primary assist leaders:

Garland carrying. Pettersson, Horvat, and Boeser suck at 5v5 scoring - Nucker101
cherry picking, Pettersson has 12 even-strength points in the past 15 games, 17 points in total. Third most total points in the NHL over the past fifteen games behind only McDavid and Draisaitl.
Kids coming alive, as his wrist is feeling better, and carrying the team offensively with J.T. Miller. |

That's awesome news, Pouty is at the tail end of his yearly 20 good game stretch. |

So now his wrist is what's keeping him from being a great Captain like you thought? You must think hand jobs are a Captains duty or something.

Neither should be captain. Team still needs one. Bo would be fine as an assistant captain who follows and looks up to an alpha |

My full season stats are cherry picking compared to your hot streak stats?
- Nucker101
Of course yours are, you're only using primary assists and you're talking about a kid that missed training camp and was dealing with a lingering wrist injury.
Pettersson made two nice plays in the past couple of games that resulted in two even-strength goals. On the half-wall he physically took the puck away from an opponent and Pearson scored, got the second assist but the goal was because of his puck retrieval.
Secondly, he kept the puck alive and got it to Hughes, who in turn got it to the front of the net and Podkolzin scored. Two goals as a result of him and two secondary assists. |

Because typically primary assists are more involved with setting up a goal.
I do wish the NHL or some site started tracking screen assists for net front guys
If I ran a team, I’d hire a few nerds to track those for all players. And also track which dmen give up the most/least screen goals |

He’s playing better recently but still nowhere near what he should be at his salary.
For the record, I wouldn’t trade him this season. Let him rack up points under Bruce, rebuild his value, and then see what’s offered during the summer. Unless he starts carrying the puck confidently down the middle of the ice like he used to, he won’t be that same player at 5v5. That’s just the harsh reality. |

My fear is that they’ll be on the bubble after the BUF game and not sell, and then go 0-7 in the next series…
My guess is 7-4-1 up to and including BUF |
