I don't think this will be an under the table thing if he has a concussion.
IF Muzzin has another one, might just be in everyones best interest to shut him down and re evaluate come playoff time..Meaning I think they should prepare for him not to be in playoffs and act as a bonus if he can/wants to play. - Santo_44
I get that but they need to decide what pieces to bring in. Do they use Muzz money to replace him with a rental and find other money to replace Holl? |

I think a lot of this will be on Muzzin as well.
It is his life and his brain, I am sure he would be in that decision to shut himself down for the season if it were to happen. - Santo_44
They should put him into a 7T MRI (the most advanced) and see what the brain looks like. It would help them come to an appropriate decision far more quickly. |

Absolutely. How many concussions has he had this season? At least the 2 or is it more? Getting that many this quickly, his family are gonna chime in, too. And I don't blame them. |

I knew to one side of his head and then it landed directly onto the ice…. The head took a couple good shots.
My primary concern is why did it take that long to stand up? Was he having trouble seeing straight? That’s what I’m wondering. - Dozzer
My best guess would be he had the spins. World around him keeps turning and messing his everything up. |

He moved his legs a little but not very much that’s for sure.
And yeah he skated on his own but he had others by his side as well |

Dzingel skating on second line for Sharks tonight |

We are all aware that the defense need a an overhaul if they want to compete.
But i am worried about the goaltending not sure thats it good enough. I love Soup but just not sure about him being capable of a playoff run.
Since they have a good relationship with the Ducks , what would it take to get Gibson. |

Barabanov was almost a PPG for a few games, so the Sharks are crossing their fins. |

The Leaf's are going to overpay for a D man ... perhaps more than one.. but I'd stick with 1.
This is not even debatable at this point.. Dubie's and perhaps even shanny's jobs are riding on it. They must start winning rounds this yr. They are already entering Oil world territory with 34 being wasted talk starting.
Now the only question is if you're going to overpay make it for the correct D man ... and in this case it's Manson He can skate and fills the other roles perfectly for what the Leaf's need.. If Ducks and Leafs can convince him to go to Toronto.. this deal is to good to pass... The Ducks aren't going to resign him so Verbeek isn't letting players walk for nothing.
It's just what is the ask from Verbeek.

He on the wing? Or did he somehow bump their captain Couture? |

The problem with Manson is the leafs are apparently on his no trade list.

Unfortunately nothing can predict what a 3rd concussion in 3-4 months could do(if he came back after this one recovers and if it recovers quickly)
I see no reason not to shut the guy down for the season. 30 games left. |

Wait was somebody playing him at C? Because that would be a (frank)ing catastrophe. |

I don't see why his job would be on the line. Dubas has had what? 2 full seasons on the job? Mix in a couple half seasons.
He's made some moves that I hated but overall, has done his job better than well.
I personally think it'd be premature to get rid of him. |

It would be nice if Lyubushkin can slot into our shutdown pair and be effective. I'm not necessarily too optimistic that he'll be that guy, but he's likely an upgrade on Holl.
Having said that, with Muzzin out this team might need to bring in two d-men. |

He's scored 25 total goals in 164 games since he got traded from Ottawa.

What if him and his doctor disagree?
Honest question, how does that work? I don’t believe the team can do it without medical and player support |

A concussion is a concussion.
there is zero ways of figuring out a timeline.
When your symptoms disappear you haven’t fully recovered and are much more susceptible to re injure, concussions are tricky and there would be full reason to shut him down, especially given the circumstances.
Again a lot of this will be on Muzzin obviously, it’s his asset to protect(his brain)
