i was a skinny, fast white guy. there was only one kid in my group growing up that could sort of keep up with me in a race but his name was elmer so i knew i was better than him. lol elmer.

but i couldn't run far. i killed everyone in school at the 50 yard dash but came in midpack and clutching my chest in the 600 yard dash.

he was the one that saved up and got a haro master freestyle bike, which spurred us all on to save up for cool bikes so he's not all bad.

he was probably my best friend growing up until i got to middle school and met other kids that played hockey.

another cool thing about him is that it came completely disassembled in one big box and even though we were just kids and we'd only ever done basic stuff like replacing handlebars or fixing the brakes, he figured it all out and had it put together within a few hours.
