Expect Vancouver native and Seattle Thunderbird Henry Rybinski to sign.

NHL interest is also picking up in RD Rebel and Surrey native Arshdeep Bains who is 2nd in WHL scoring.

That’s the year I bought my season tickets for the Canucks. Media was saying you wouldn’t be able to buy scalper tickets anymore so we bought 2 seats in the lower bowl. All my Canuck fans that sat around us knew me well, as I cheered for the visitors all time.

Looks like Tampa is the 1st to take advantage, they just signed Bennett MacArthur out of the Q.

Also, I posted Arshdeep a few weeks ago, would be a nice signing, so would his teammate Ben King, but not sure if he is eligible as he turns 20 in May

Reality check hit, now we KNOW that the hot streak was just that, a streak. Without Demko all our warts are visible defensively, so therefore it's time to admit that the playoffs aren't going to be a possibility and take the time to remake the team into a contender rather than a pretender bubble team that needs to luck in to the playoffs and go on a hot streak to go anywhere.

For those of you saying that selling Miller in the middle of a playoff hunt would piss off the players? Give me a break, hockey is a business and if they can't handle the fact that the team needs to make changes to get them to the next level then they themselves should be traded. This whole idea of, oh, we're so close to getting a playoff spots so we should keep everyone until the season's end is exactly why we're in this spot today. Clearly the defense isn't adequate and BADLY needs an upgrade along with several other spots on the forwards that need addressing along with the lack of cap space.

It's time to say, "We tried, we got close, but it's not to be so let's move on and get what assets we can right now when prices are high and get ready for next year and 2 years from now when we should be ready to make a real run."

I'm not as high on Garland as you are. In this draft if someone gives up a mid 1st and a prospect or a 2nd. I would take it.
