Awesome Miller getting 2nd star of the week, we’ll done. It’s not 1st star like Markstrom was 2 weeks ago, and Lindholm last week, still an accomplishment non the less. Maybe next week it will feature a Canuck as the 1st star.
I wouldn’t expect any trades this year, maybe in the off season. With the Oilers falling out and the Ducks losing ground, Canucks have a good chance of squeaking in. Just got to keep the pace and hope Dallas drops a bit.

8 years at almost 8 million per for a player who is hitting 30, kinda goes against everything you have been saying for several years.

I would say it is a push but gives cap relief in the end . Severson would be an upgrade over Poolman but you lose Boeser who has many different opinions on social media about his skill level.

I think Boeser is a good two way player who will get you 20 + goals but is not a 7 .5 mil value.

I don’t like what I’ve been reading about Zacha from Devils fans. Sounds like the type of player that is more of a placeholder and someone you end up wanting to upgrade on.

Former season ticket holder for the Rockets til I retired for the winters. Still have a lot of fond memories of those guys. Plus Kelowna Rockets are famous for their contribution on NHL roster.

I don't think there are any magic ways to fix the roster and GMs eventually turn to what has worked for years. I think they will turn to buyouts and using assets to move players. There are only so many solutions.

We will get a better handle on Zacha during tonight's game, yes I realize it is only 1 game, but at least we can focus on him, as fans tend to focus only on points.
As you know, some fans aren't very reliable as talent assessors.
