"there are plenty of intangibles at play that can't necessarily be captured by analytics."

Thanks Carol!

Still waiting on someone to explain what this means

It means that Sami Salo, with only one ball, has more balls than these muffins, and his one giant ball still wasn’t enough.

I didn't see the game . First time in a decade that I just didn't feel like watching it. Glad to see Podz heating it up.

Pods 10 goals in 53 games with very limited TOI and line mates for most of it. Kid is gonna be good.

Probably best victory there was when 10 mil Matts Sundin got the game winner. Talk about a bad contract .
- VANTEL

But it was one year, it wasn’t actually $10m and they had tons of cap space.

Backup goalie with bonus targets a monkey could earn and a NMC!

I'd easily trade all 3 for a line that might be less flashy with slightly less offense, but is harder to play against physically and defensively

It was 2 years but thankfully Sundin realized he was terrible. You can't possibly be defending that contract

Another Gillis beauty.

The Sedins didn’t have one ball between them both and how did that work out?

I agree the Heat are the #1 team in the AHL. Abbotsford recently handed them one of their rare losses which seemed to sparks the Canucks to go on this tear.

My old place near 70 Mile House. Better quality life down here for me. Quesnel has gone downhill big time over the last few years. Also, the best trophy trout fishing has shifted from central and north Cariboo to the south Cariboo. On the poop side, much colder winter down here on the plateau... although you get less snow so maybe it's a wash.

Which is your favourite lake around 70 mile? Heading up there May long with some friends, do a little fishing and some camping.

Don’t know the area, my buidies son has been fishing around there for years. He’s got some lakes he likes, going to show us around. You don’t have to worry the fish are pretty safe when I’m out there, still nice being on the water.

Never understood the beauty of fishing. Sounds like an old guy sport. If God wanted us fishing he would not have created Cpt Highliner.

Just got to catch a fish to understand the beauty. Sitting in a boat with an old friend, scenery, smell of campfire waffling onto the lake, introducing your kids to a sport they can enjoy for life, getting off the couch, there’s lots to like.

What kind of camping do you guys want? Provincial Campground on a nice lake? Go to Big Bar just north of Clinton. Nice fish in there... I only ice fish it. Do you want a little more rustic like a forest service rec site? Then head down hwy 24(Thee Fishing Highway) and check out Crystal Lake. Its just outside the village of Bridge Lake. Its another hour travel from 70 Mile.

I wouldnt mention any of my special lakes to tourists... not a chance.
