Yeah, I am honestly very happy for him and Zadorov as well. These guys need a special type of coach and playing style to be successful and that is what they got with the Flames.

Watching Kadri female dog and whine EVERYTIME he was touched...
Monahan honestly can't shoot the puck. He fanned on 3 or 4 high danger chances. Curious what tonight looks like.

For the most part they kept up and that 3rd pairing had some really nice hits. Looch looked especially slow last night ! Monahan too actually.

Not a fan of Monahan, he has lost more than a step, a shot, and the ability to pass. It seems that any player that is on the same line as Monahan tanks. Looch was a monster when he was on the third line when Monahan was on the 4th. Pitlick just disappeared, Dube cocooned. Just a matter of time before Toff does the same. The coach knows it, the players know it and Monahan has to know it. I think Sutter is just trying to get Monahan to show a little life so he can trade him.
