Yeah I don’t think Boeser takes anything under 6M+.
But he can't ask for as much as Petey/Hughes, so in my mind that sits him around the 6-6.5 mil mark. - NorthNuck

Yeah, this could be the biggest contract he gets in his career so he'll probably take a swing, but like I said, I think the teams internal cap will keep that number down if he does want to stay. Tough to argue you deserve 7+ when you're being outscored by your C(who has less TOI) and a Dman making that much.

You can usually get them or at least be one of their top choices if you guarantee them some NHL games to finish the season. A nice little bonus paycheck or two plus a chance to impress their coach heading into camp next season, giving them a potential leg up on prospects playing in other leagues.
