Well, maybe they're "showcasing" Bailey to trade him. Let's face it, Bailey is in a pretty rare club. He's an elite passer. I mean, who else would bypass a shot at an open net and make a good, clean, solid backhand pass to the boards? That is talent, my friend.

I just wonder what happened in his childhood that made him so afraid to shoot the puck at the net.

Butch is awesome by the way... He sees everything going on during the game and usually says what I just yelled at my TV. Has zero issues calling out refs, or Islanders for dumb plays, not skating, horrific calls, and yes he is a homer but he knows he is a homer and he and Brendan usually kid about it during the call.

I Love the guy.. so "Butch needs to retire" is a horrific take."

Bullpoop he's terrible and biased and probably why you.like him. Him complaining about goalie interference when greene hipped checked the guy into our goalie is a prime example. Evrn Burke said didn't have anything to do with greenes hip right and Butch stuttered away. Any call against the isles is weak and anything done to them is egregious and its tiring, he also doesn't seem to understand how icing works in regards to a race for the puck. Also just because you don't agree doesn't make it a horrific take but I guess that also must mean your take is horrific, he is our version of jack Edward's or Rick gennerette.. we had Billy Jaffe who was great and called it like it was

The problem with last night is the fans think we're actually close to Colorado.. We give up 4 goals in 4 minutes and 21 seconds and then storm back after they go into cruise control and almost tie it, the issue is Colorado dominated us for most of that game and their top 5 players are arguably better than our best player. I trust Lou to get ride of Chara and greene and I'd be ok if he kept Parise but they need a top line player for barzal just like the did for tavares. Palmieri is regressing to the mean and Wahlstrom has potential but I'd personally like to see a true star brought in however unlikely that may be.

Yeah, not gonna happen. Unless he's throwing him out there to get trade interest, Trotz loves him some Bailey.
Does Bailey somehow have incriminating photos of these guys? Is that why he plays all the time, never sits, and never gets traded? I feel like this was said about Snowballz and Crappy a few years ago.
