The lineup decision is puzzling, only thing I can think of is Lindgren has looked a bit beat up the last few weeks and took that nasty shot off the knee when Shesty had to help him to the bench. Maybe GG was worried Lindgren wouldn’t be able to play the full 60 and wanted another dman in the lineup just in case?

Looked to me like a lineup that’s expecting a couple of trades soon

That was such an easy win. I know it was 45 shots but they cruised through that thing.

if not for all those penalties, this game is a very lopsided win and probably a shutout.

Talk about a team that needs to rip it up and make some wholesale changes. Winnipeg looks like a team that’s going nowhere fast.

Definitely. Lot of talent there, and a lot of expensive players too.

They need big shakeup.

I dont think they need the pending UFA dumps as much as they need some major changes

their blueline is waaaaay too expensive for a team so easy to play against

So that Shayna person made an article about Lafreniere and Hughes, comparing them season to season. So many Rangers fans 100% still labeling Laf a bust despite his uptick in play. She even detailed how he has been deployed around a 1/3 less with less than half the power play time that Hughes has received.

Why do these people even watch the games? Just pick another team.

The dude has zero PP points...ZERO. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut but he just gets so little time. I think he is a good player who will continue to develop. He may never be flashy like Hughes but he probably won't be a turnover machine and will actually look like a grownup.

We have not even seen Lafreniere's best. People thought he looked slow, not the case anymore. He's also being forced to play his off wing. There were going to be some growing pains.

Once again it bears repeating. Most recent top picks are heading to disaster teams. Laf and Kakko came to teams where there were established high end veterans. It has stunted their growth 100%.

Yeah and her fancy stat army of simp followers had their pitch forks out for Laf.

Do you think Tom jerks it to her while he asphyxiates himself with a noose?

The shots on goal did not depict the flow of that game, at no point was I worried they were going to lose that game.

Wasnt really impressed with any of the Pegs players, but the Rangers dominated that game. I really only noticed Adam Lowry and Conner. I think Copp might be a good add but watching last nights game didnt really inspire any excitement.

Dubois was noticeable, dominant on faceoffs and he plays a feisty game

I agree on Copp, I'll take him for right price but I'm not dying for him by any means

he'd certainly help the bottom 6, no question though

PLD really stood out to me on the jets. Elhers and Connor are good but pld would do wonders with Panarin again

I thought it was likely because of Lindgren being banged up coinciding with the start of a week-long road trip.
I thought RL55 looked like he could use a few maintenance days at times.
Still don't understand how they have that big of a shake up to the line up and Hunt is still glued to Bread and Butter.
I saw one shift, or maybe during transition, that Johnny Brodway was out with them. I could get behind that combo!

I agree, Hunt needs to be taken off that line even though he seems less out of place lately. There is still just too much of a skill gap between him and the other two guys on that line.

I felt like last night was his best game with that line. And, that was because I counted about 3 "decent" plays. Far from good enough to justify his presence on that line.
