Probably all the above.
Judging by the clothes this dude is probably in his 40's now. Probably has kids, they were going through a family album, saw this and posted it somewhere. |

Shocking.
I'm sure every team in the hunt has kicked Giroux's tires. - Fenrir
one thing about this though, Rangers seemingly always have two scouts at every Flyers game lately
maybe some smoke

Max Domi confirmed to me on Friday that he and the team "haven't really talked about (the future) much to be honest with you." Seems a trade is very much in play. #CBJ |

Absolutely not, hell no, and a forgetta about it should be enough to make the deal never happen
Physical, some may say: 12 hits on the year, 27 over the last two seasons. Yay.
Good at faceoffs? He’s taken 10 total this year and when asked to take more he’s very pedestrian. 48% or less.
+- is a meh stat, but in his 72pt season he was a +20. Been a minus every other season. That means he doesn’t play defense well.
Guy is so overrated. Why bring in that energy… |

Obviously I looked it up, I'm not Jimbo.
I haven't been too impressed with his play at all from what I've seen, but we desperately need a player that can win faceoffs. Didn't realize how bad he was until Bean Dip spelled it out.
Nevermind. Hard pass as the kids say. |

Wings claimed Juolevi off waivers from Florida, former top 5 pick, that's why they need to drop a player - jimbro83
I remember when he got drafted guys were raving about him. He blew out his knee soon after the draft and I guess hasn’t been able to figure it back out. |

Not meant to be an attack, sorry if it came out that way.
My attempt to curb any conversation on why he’d be a good add (because he would not be) |

If we’re getting just rentals as reinforcements, to me two is better than one.
Jarnkrok and Rakell over Giroux for example. We really need two top 9 forwards |

First, per a Panthers top goal scoring prospect in Owen Tippett wanted by Philly, any Rangers trade for Giroux would start in contrast with Schneider demanded as one top piece in a top NHL back line prospect in part, with the Flyers seeking NHL ready upper level prospects. A big NO to trade a top prospect for any rental, especially one higher in both trade cost and price who they can't afford to re-sign given their cap restraints starting next season.
Secondly, the Flyers would otherwise never deal any of their long time stars to either of their two most hated division rivals, in first the Penguins, followed by the Rangers.
The Rangers in having scouted them may be for reason to acquire back line depth to pair with Schneider, in likely seeking one of their 5 to be Summer UFA d'men in Justin Braun ($1.8M expiring season's cap hit). However, TOR, CARO, EDM, and the same PANTHERS are also rumored interested in him; the latter in a combo package with Giroux. |

Jarnkrok and Rakell would be a home run by Drury and probably cost less than Giroux alone.
If not at the deadline, those are they types of guys we need this off-season if possible.
I really don’t want to give up more than picks and no better than our 4th ranked prospect for rentals. Lundkvist is someone I feel we would regret giving away for a rental as well. |

I agree. We do not need to infuse any all stars. We don’t need that
At some point as fans we have to let go of some of these prospects. It’s ok to trade one or two. Nils just has no spot on the right side, I see no reason whatsoever to not trade him |

Trade deadline wise, the two teams having reportedly scouted the Rangers most heavily since the Rangers return from the All Star break in mid February, are two who besides not facing the Rangers any longer from that point thru season's end; just one of has a long shot chance of even reaching the postseason. The latter's still in the playoff hunt should the Capitals entail a total collapse are the Blue Jackets, while the non contender's scouts are from the Kraken.
In knowing their interests in some made available by Seattle, the question is who Columbus has available, other than max Domi, who doesn't solve the Rangers issue of experienced faceoff skill & experience needed both on the 3rd line, and some key special team & other important game situations. Domi with exception for one breakout season with Montreal, doesn't fill their forward depth role needs, in also not having succeeded yet overall playing in contrast, in the Metro division.

Agree the Rangers should 100% trade Nils, just think it should be for a player with term left or maybe a center prospect.
Was just watching NHL network and Daneyko was raving about Shesty. “Fastest goalie he’s even seen”. Says he should be in the top 3 for the Hart. Bill Lindsay agreed and thinks the Rangers should consider trading Laf and/or Kakko to make a run this season. Daneyko basically said trading Laf would be crazy and pointed to his elevated play. You know the Rangers are doing something right when a former Devils great is raving about your players. |

I was thinking about this last night. There’s almost no reason to keep nils, Jones, Robertson, etc. 5 of our 6 defensemen are set for a long time to come. The bottom pairing LD should be a vet on a min contract. You don’t want to completely empty the cupboard but Jones, nils, and to a lesser extent Robertson are all very close to nhl ready and we can’t fit them in the lineup |

While they're doing something right, Kenny is a very knowledgeable hockey guy and he's going to call it like he sees it. I'm surprised he's only doing TV
